all the good reviews must have be written by the developer of this game .he has manage to take £1.69 of all of us with out shame .Steam has let down the customers who have paid for this game
This is propably the worst racing game I have ever played. The handling of the car ist just ridiculous as well as gameplay, grafics - well everything is not even close to the niveau of a current mobile game. It looks and plays like the first game of someone who self-taught programming.. . Don't get fooled by the positive comments here - this is not even worth 1 $
No controller support at all on Linux+Steam, even though partial controller support is indicated. Must rely on keyboard only, this is not fun at all, although graphics and physics look promising. Perhaps it will be usable one day.
The game is what it states: a highway driving simulator. The “racing” part only implies that you are trying to weave your way through traffic faster than the other cars on the road. It is you against a bunch of random traffic, which resembles my commutes to work (heh). The “smart traffic system” needs a tweak or two, but it is not bad. The game consists of passing everyone (legally and illegally according to the lane markers) and accumulating points for various things like mileage driven and how long you spend over 100 KPH. The “race” is over when you crash into someone (or they swerve suddenly in front of you, more likely). Your score is then calculated along with earnings you can use to upgrade. Nice graphics, decent control with WASD, and no instructions but the game is so straightforward that instructions are probably not needed. I experienced no game crashes or slowdowns at 60 fps and high quality graphics (in the game settings). The F12 key works. There is no in-game volume control. The sounds consist of various engine noises and a series of clunks and related noises for gear changes and minor or major (game ending) collisions. There is no manual save game feature. It saves your scores and so forth when you complete a "race." My test drives took an hour and something (the time reported here also includes me taking a break for dinner) and I think the game (purchased on sale) pretty much already paid for itself.
Warning: Asset Flip! "Car Racing Highway Driving Simulator, real parking driver sim speed traffic deluxe 2023" is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated someone else's Unity mobile app asset pack, changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game.
"Car Racing Highway Driving Simulator, real parking driver sim speed traffic deluxe 2023" is a really nasty, basic 1:1 asset flip, you can see the same asset being sold on asset stores as "Racing Car 2021". Asset flippers are shameless about trying to scam PC gamers into buying someone else's asset pack. The asset pack that was stolen here isn't even for a PC game, it's to make mobile apps with. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone. The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 15 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This mobile app features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the mobile app launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the mobile app, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this mobile app should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR Part 465), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.
This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you buy this asset flip? Is this better than any of the 100,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not! "Car Racing Highway Driving Simulator, real parking driver sim speed traffic deluxe 2023" is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the mobile app, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
Game is literally 50 cents as I'm writing this. Don't have high expectations, it is a super cheap game that was not a super lot of effort to make (they even left a folder with "DoNotShip" suffix in the game), but I mean it's 120x cheaper than a AAA racing game. It is still a somewhat bad game, don't have high expectations and even the 50 cents is borderline harsh. Nevertheless I had about 30 minutes of fun with it so I guess, try to get it during this sale

This was fun. It catches on the longer you play it.
Non,restez sur NFS et amusez-vous.Ici on propose le même plat mais l’assaisonnement change non seulement la saveur mais aussi le plaisir.
It's fun for 5 minutes at most. Progression is WAY too slow. Audio isn't properly centered. It might be OK for a mobile game, but on PC it's not worth playing, even if it were free.
