About
FLESH CANCER is a boomer-shooter FPS made in the ID Tech 2 engine, focused on fast-paced gameplay, unnatural environments, and old-school violence.
Wield unique and satisfying weapons such as a double-barrel shotgun, a napalm launcher, and even a skull infused with a strange energy.
Fight enemies ranging from cannibal cultists and terrorists to grotesque aberrations — and even a walking bomb built by a seven-year-old child.
In 1985, after the fall of the military dictatorship in Brazil, an unknown cult begins to form. They are known for their belief that there is another world inhabited by an unknown being who lives inside a skinless humanoid, hopeless and empty. After two years, the cult manages to open a portal to this world in the center of a small city known for its people having no faith or hope. The portal is opened with the goal of granting this being more power, giving it more life and strength.
In a forest near the city lives a man who fought against the dictatorship. After the conflict, he isolated himself from society because of the crimes he committed. When he learns about what the cult has done, he heads to the city to stop it. MAKE IT RAIN FLESH, ORGANS, AND BLOOD LIKE NEVER BEFORE.

I really liked this game, the atmosphere is charming and the weapons are good, but there are some issues The game feels like it relies a lot on spamming melee enemies and those aren't the most engaging to fight Also, the ammo scarcity in the first few levels is really unforgiving. I get forcing the player to manage their resources, but forcing them to bash every enemy with the hammer (which isn't a very good weapon) to death isn't very interesting One thing I found weird was the music choice for some of the levels. The ost isn't bad in a vacuum, but some of the later tracks for example, really don't fit the atmosphere of the game and ruin the immersion a bit But generally, this is a very promising EA release and I'm exited to see what the dev does next
Solid first episode so far with surprisingly some banger music. It's reskinned librequake so if you played Quake 1 before, you already have an idea how this will play out. If I have some feedbacks to give I will say some levels could use a second pass since there's quite a bit of clipping with the doors and some obvious missing textures. There's also a few time I couldn't see the way forward because some stairs or doors were obsturcted by darkness. The hunting rifle look too much like the regular shotgun just repositioned to look different enough but not enough in my opinion(hell I thought it was a bugged out shotgun the first time I picked it up). I also got softlock in the train level behind some chairs. Some other people already pointed it out but some librequake assets are a bit too obvious so if they could be replaced for more unique assets, it would be welcomed and if not, it doesn't deter from my personal experience. Still, these are small issues that im sure will be addressed overtime. I will update this review the further along it gets updated.
If you enjoyed BRAZILIAN DRUG DEALER 3 then it's a no brainer.
Damn, this was FUN. Wasn't 100% sure what to expect going in, but this game has that pure and refined edginess. Level design was engaging, and played on expectations, from CQB in tight houses to blasting demons in a flesh dimension. Genuinely difficult, but never unfair or overstayed its welcome. Level sizes were compact but dense, with every room bringing rewarding and satisfying fights. The sound track needs mentioning, the whole game is gripped with this dread-filled atmosphere and that's thanks to the soundtrack and artstyle being so cohesive. Level 4 soundtrack in particular All this for $3? Easiest spend ever, can't wait for more episodes.
i have cancer
Что за имбу я купил!
buy it (please Mr Dev give us more ammo its so difficult lol)
This game is really good. I received this game from keymailer and i had alot of fun with this game sometimes it does freeze but it will unfreeze after a few seconds. This game is fun and the levels are unique but when you die its so unforgiving lol if you havent saved at a later point in the level but i cant wait for this game to come out fully with all 3 episodes :3
pretty cool. of course given this game is still in early access, it admittedly is pretty rough around the edges, but brushing over some minor glitches and bugs, it's still a really enjoyable boomer shooter.
Honestly not feeling it. Sorry dev. I've only beaten the first level but the textures and lighting are giving me an eyestrain headache so I can't see myself playing any further. The level geometry itself isn't bad but I think enemy and ammo balance is off. I was playing on hard and had to just run past about a quarter of the enemies because the ammo just wasn't there. Plus, putting the not-Vores in the first level is nuts, even on hard. A more mixed criticism I have is that every enemy is just a model from a different Quake product (mostly LibreQuake) but with a worse texture. To be clear, I am not morally opposed to using free assets, that's what they're for after all but when I'm recognizing almost every one I do have a problem with it.
