BALL x PIT is a fast-paced fantasy roguelite where heroes must find the balls to plunge deeper into a seemingly bottomless pit of monsters. Develop arcane ammunition and resources in pursuit of treasure, recruiting additional heroes to aid you in your perilous quest.
Ballbylon has fallen. After a meteoric and completely unexpected event annihilated the great city, all that remains is an ominous, yawning pit. Treasure hunters from far and wide flock to the city’s tomb to seek their fortune, plumbing the depths in search of Ballbylon’s scattered riches. Few return.
The pit plays host to armies of barbaric creatures, hellbent on ending your quest before it even begins. Armed with a growing arsenal of magic-infused projectiles, batter your way through multiple levels of increasingly challenging obstacles to claim the ultimate prizes and rebuild New Ballbylon.
The Ball Fusion system encourages explosive experimentation with over 60 randomized balls to equip and combine during your journey. Discover overpowered combinations and unexpected synergies from hundreds of possible outcomes.

Great game, but short the harvesting in town part feels tacked on but doesnt take away from the main game
WHAT a BLAST! I completed this game over and over. Excellent, addictive, and overall a little masterpiece of a title. If you are still on the fence, don't hesitate. I love the experiment of fusion with the different stats attached to your characters and each runs are completely different with joy of filling your screen with Balls. Beware that your system might crash (especially on SteamDeck or Mac Mini) due to the amount of pixels and polygons on your screen but it so worth it and so satisfying. I don't know if they have any plans to release another DLC (latest update was April 2026) or new modes but I will definitely be there for that and have another go.
Ball x Pit ✅ Last week, while I was bouncing from one game to another without really getting into anything, I came across a post on X where one of my moots was talking about this game. Since the Steam Summer Sale was on, I figured, "Eh, it's cheap, I'll buy it and give it a try." Well... "giving it a try" turned into a full-on addiction 😂 I've played it pretty much non-stop from the moment I bought it until today, when I finally "finished" it. I put "finished" in quotes because, being a roguelite, it's the kind of game that never really ends (I even unlocked NG+). Anyway, if you're into roguelites, this is exactly the kind of game that'll keep you hooked for hours without getting boring. Score: 8.5/10

(Insert ball joke here) An inventive and addicting action roguelite. The devs also release free updates every couple of months that keep the game feeling fresh.
