Personally prefer it over BG3. It's a grand adventure with a memorable cast of party members, a beautifully crafted world, and an aggressively okay main story. The Infinity Engine is very much a dated system, but if you can find it in your heart to love old-school jank, this is probably one of the more fun titles from this era of Bioware. Real-time with pause gameplay ensures that combat encounters are less of a monotonous slog than they would be if the game was turn-based, though prepare for lots of save scumming. Recommended if you're the kind of gamer that leans more towards Morrowind than Skyrim.
it's fun to play I like the spell casting having six people in the party being able to multi class characters and the story is pretty good if you like RPG's you might like this one. with some games it's hard for me to stay in or keep up with the story this games not like that the game play it self helps me to stay with it. may the Lord our God bring you joy to worship Him Amen!

Eines der besten Rollenspiele aller Zeiten. Vor allem: mit Charakteren, die einem wirklich ans Herz wachsen. Ich habe den dritten Teil vor Kurzem fertig gespielt. Ein tolles Spiel, aber von der Handlung her muss ich trotzdem sagen, dass mir der zweite Teil besser gefallen hat. Die Story entführt einen durch eine fantastische Welt. Die Gefährten wirken lebendig und haben alle tolle Sidestories. Die Kämpfe sind schwieriger und dadurch auch taktisch anspruchsvoller. Und dann gibt es im zweiten Teil auch den tollsten Bösewicht der ganzen Serie. Kein Abziehbild eines Schurken, sondern einen finsteren Magier mit einem nachvollziehbaren Motiv. Wenn ihr Baldurs Gate 3 gespielt habt: Gebt dem zweiten Teil trotz der Grafik eine Chance. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen.
To this day one of the best RPGs out there. It reminds me of my childhood where I spent countless hours after school, roaming the Sword Coast for adventures. No other game has managed to pull me into its world like Baldurs Gate did. I play it at least once a year.

绝对足以载入史册的神作，博德一提供了一个优秀的框架，二代更是在原有的基础上把它完全扬长避短 机制上，庞大又实用的法术作为线编制出了相当精巧的法术攻防，除去战斗之外，法术的存在更是带动着玩家思考，比如想安全通过怪海，那就放隐身，如果怪海里有能反隐的怪呢，那就法术免疫防护系，这样通过法术免疫对防护系的真实视域的克制，可以轻而易举地让玩家用隐身突破怪海，以上只是博德2法术体系的冰山一角，还有更多的机制能够去排列组合 剧情上，不同于一代双线并行地揭露沙洛佛克的阴谋与巴尔之子的命运，二代更是直接将抗争的主题发挥到了极致，一波三折荡气回肠，虽然因为年代久远有些粗糙，但是足够精彩，同时队友的塑造更是为冒险增色不少，比起一代的游玩更是增加了相当高的温度与代入感，作为boss的艾瑞尼卡斯同样让人印象深刻，疯狂悲剧又咎由自取的经历，超高的行动力，循循诱导的言语，还是个高贵的法师，共同构造了他独一份的压迫感，正是因为这位的压轴，从阿斯卡特拉开始的冒险才会更有史诗感 总之，我推荐任何电子ed的玩家去品鉴这款游戏，虽然有些难以上手，但能试着玩玩，无论如何，总是好的
This is admittedly a complicated game to play, but incredibly well worth it. This very much lives up to it's status of being one of the best video games ever made. I cannot recommend it enough. If this is your first time playing, I highly recommend playing BG I first, which has a tutorial in the beginning. Also use the guides you can find online. They will be life-changingly helpful.
There's not much to say that hasn't been already. BG2 is a true classic that has stood the test of time. The only real barrier to having fun is learning the old D+D rules, and how this game engine interprets them. The new characters that came with the Enhanced Edition range from obnoxious to just ok. Even so, you may not care if you've never played the original. And if you've played it to death over the years, they're at least something new to do. Overall, BG2 is easily in the top 10 PC games of all time for me and it's just as fun to play today as it was 25 years ago.
