Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Aug 14 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Отличное приключение, увлекает достаточно сильно, хорошая центральная история хоть и обыденная, подход в ней сделан с умом, тем дольше играешь чем больше получаешь удовольствие, так же радует дополнения к игре которые еще более дополняют мир!!!

I purchased Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition in 2017. It has never worked after trying on six computers. the game will install but will not run. According to the forum, this is a common problem. I don't have time to slog through the discord to find someone who speaks English. I just want a refund so that I can play something else.
First of all: this is D&D, and it is real-time turn-based! (There is a pause button.) This might be a huge problem for modern players. I even recently explored every magic scroll and learned to cheese this game. And this is recommended, because the game cheeses you a lot, but I found that to be a positive challenge rather than a frustrating experience. I played the game to no end when I was a child, and I have to say that the Enhanced Edition brought back that nostalgic feeling. The game has so much to offer; it literally wants you to have a good time. It has infinite replay value because your choices really matter—not on a huge scale, but enough to provide decent alternative content or even different reactions from people you've met earlier. The only main problems I have with the Enhanced Edition are that they removed the old CGI videos, which really had their own charm. Luckily, there is a mod that brings them back, and it does not disable achievements (as far as I know, no mod does in this game). The other problem is the Story Mode difficulty. This is, in my opinion, not even suitable for beginner players, because back in the day, I learned that you play the game until you reach a difficulty spike you cannot overcome, then export your character, restart the game with your now higher-level character, make different choices, enjoy the game, and repeat everything until you feel done with the game or are high enough level for the final boss (without cheese strategies, of course). Story Mode also corrupts your character file if you export it again. You cannot get rid of the Story Mode benefits that make you ridiculously overpowered.
One of the great games
I´ve played this game many times and I still love playing it as there is always something new to discover. Interacting with the characters is fun and useful. It´a rich world full of assets and different landscapes. Highly recommended despite its age.
Great game, I used to play the regular edition and then EE came out and holy heck. Makes the game infinitely better!!!
Fun old-school D&D 3e campaign.
Jogo clássico.
It isn't a bad game by any stretch. It's a bit grindy in the beginning, but things do get smoother as you progress. Inventory management also gets a little easier as you pick up various sub-containers and more adventuring companions. Even then, it felt like I was always slot or two away from being full-up on everyone, but that forces you to pay attention to weight limits and consider pitching what isn't really that important. The dialogue is a bit over-the-top, but that's just how high fantasy was done back then. A small part of me is nostalgic for that, but I enjoy a little scenery chewing now and then. About the only other gripe I have is that character pathing isn't the best and it seems to worsen in the late game; to the point where characters get stuck on top of each other and you'll need to pry them apart if you don't position them just so. All this to say, if you're a fan of isometric RPGs such as Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny, etc. then I recommend giving this one a go. P.S: It was great seeing Neera, Rasaad and others in the Baldur's Gate MtG sets. I absolutely love it when my hobbies come together like that. :D
