Your journey begins as all great cRPG tales once did: quietly, within the walls of home, before fate tears everything open.
Forced from the safety of Candlekeep under mysterious circumstances, you’re thrust into a conflict that threatens to ignite the Sword Coast. Your world has always been limited to the fortress library’s ancient halls, where your foster father, Gorion, worked tirelessly to shield you from dangers you never understood.
All of that is about to change, setting you on the path that made Baldur’s Gate a legend.

It's a classic
Baldur's Gates 1 & 2 are two of my favorite games I've ever played. Dated by today's standards, but very re-playable nonetheless.
Works on Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB but performance is touch & go. Little laggy in videos & menus. Works because: Canonical Builds Steam Snap For Ubuntu ARM64 Leveraging FEX Reducing my resolution and Zoom locking in options could help. Runs pretty well actually once out of the main menu considering what its playing on. Its a FEX compatibility layer built into the Steam snap by Ubuntu. Steam doesnt normally run on arm and is still not that fast on the Pi. Steam itself is slow but runs ok in small mode. Works on 2.7.3 even but there are other ways to run this classic too- GemRB or through Box64 for instance. Made a thread about it below. Will likely run great on the Pi 5. An updated classic with QOL improvements.
I was rerolling Paladin, at first I passed a 101. After storing the 100 total stat 18/99, I decided I did not like the picture I had chosen. 10/10.
Great game, I used to play the regular edition and then EE came out and holy heck. Makes the game infinitely better!!!
baldur gate
Classic. Recommended for all crpg fans. Even if you don't want to replay the main story, you can jump in for some quick matches in the black pits to scratch that DnD itch.
One of the greatest RPGs of all time...
taş gibi oyun. zamanında interplay nasıl yaptıysa hala oynatıyo kendini.(beamdogunda burda önemli bir rolü var tabi)
