Baldur’s Gate 3 is a story-rich, party-based RPG set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons, where your choices shape a tale of fellowship and betrayal, survival and sacrifice, and the lure of absolute power.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, GOG publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Of the 12 markets with a position on both sides, 12 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 137.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 151.83/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 161.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 196.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ganz ok, aber völlig overhyped. 6,5/10
Baldur's Gate 3 – Two Years, One Playthrough, Several Broken Dice
★★★★★★★★★☆ (9/10) An excellent game with an excellent story. It took me almost two years to finally finish one playthrough, but I finally did it. I played the whole thing with my wife, and we had an absolute blast. Playing together made the experience even better, especially when you both have completely different ideas about what the hell you should be doing. The characters are fantastic. They actually have personalities, emotions, opinions, and their own reactions to what you do. The story is interesting and constantly gives you reasons to keep going. The combat is fun, but sometimes punishing. I understand it's based on D&D, but some of those dice rolls felt personally targeted. Eventually I found myself doing some safe scumming. I can only watch the game roll another critical failure so many times before I decide that perhaps the dice need some adult supervision. I understand the D&D system is part of the appeal, but personally, I prefer RPGs where having enough of a certain stat simply gives you access to a dialogue option. Sometimes I don't want to roll a 20-sided coin to determine whether my character is capable of remembering how to speak. For us, Divinity's combat was more fun. Missing an attack and then sitting there watching every other character take their turn before you get another chance would get pretty annoying. Another small complaint is the facial animations. Some characters have perfectly normal conversations while making expressions that look like they just received news from an alternate universe. They do not quite know how to human (sure some are not actually human, but you get the point). And then there's my favourite technical achievement. I was running the game with everything maxed out, and somehow managed to blow a fuse in my house. My RTX 5090 was running at full power and apparently decided the electrical infrastructure wasn't worthy of its presence. Don't do what I did. The game really doesn't benefit enough from maxing absolutely everything out to justify potentially turning your house into a loading screen. Despite all of that, this is easily one of the best RPGs I've played. I'll probably do another run in the future, this time with some mods, once I've forgotten enough of what happened. For now, I'm just happy I finally finished it. Can't wait to see what Larian does next.
