This game is the Tails Gets Trolled of video games. An ironic, intentionally dumb, vulgar, and violent game, yet at the same time surprisingly good. It does a great job of hiding some genuine effort and sincere storytelling under layers of irony and MS Paint graphics. The gameplay itself is simple but good. I haven't played many RPG Maker games, but the strategy was actually kind of deep. Just having yellow and blue attacks and defense doesn't sound like much, but when you add in all the available moves spread out among several playable characters (I got 10 characters in 4 hours), there's good potential for synergizing characters. For example, Ronaldo is a character that's really powerful after 3 turns, charging up 3 fire, spending 1 fire to make the next attack a double attack, and then 2 for his special move (with an extra animation now that it's double). Add in Norma's ability to stun, rXcca's ability to give fire, or [spoiler]Bella Donna[/spoiler]'s ability to grant an extra turn, and you've got a pretty powerful setup. Come to laugh at the dumb game, stay for the good game.

I genuinely can't say much about what I love about this game without spoiling stuff. Just play it. Please. It's legendarily good and one of the endings borderline made me cry.

its goood tis good its really reaallly goood i like joshua i like jennyfer the gameplay its gooood its gooooood i got allll the achievements and beat the game with alll the 4 nuzlocke bastards (not to be confused with bastard the character) ((got ending 3 in particular)) (((no i didnt use any of the characters that instant kill im not a loser))) i liiike belladonna the gameplay was great the soundtrack made me giggle but also boogie 10/10 10/10

it's like dave strider transitioned and then made a video game. made me laugh, made me cry like a little ♥♥♥♥♥. worth waaaay more than i paid for it. I should be paying $50 minimum for this peak experience that beats the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ off any and every triple-A piece of ♥♥♥♥ out there. EDIT: having found the secret dev interview... I'm glad you made this. I'm glad I got to experience it. It's easy to be self-critical when you've been seeing your own work for so long and it's easy to take what you do for granted, but seeing it from the outside? this is a real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work of art, dawg. I know you probably won't see this, but this game touched me. I'll be thinking about it for weeks. Maybe someday you'll create something amazing........ but I think you already, truly did.
