For disclosure: I've been following the author for quite a while now, so I'm rather biased (did you know he has a channel with multiple short videos with stories set in the same world? Channel name is the same as the name of the game). Pros: - A very original world. I really enjoyed being there and figuring out what was happening. - Equally original art style. Well, this is probably what brought you here. - Relaxed no-rush gameplay. You can make a cup of tea and just sit there and watch frogs. - The controls let you do things quickly if necessary. - Zero bugs. That's something these days. I mean, the game actually has LOTS of bugs, but not the type that crashes it. Cons: - Rather short (I've completed the whole game in around two hours over two evenings. I've been using hints, but I just personally don't like guessing what's clickable and what's not). - Almost zero variability and, hence, replayability. I guess it's common for point-and-click. - Perceived danger is not really a danger. You just can't go to places where you might get killed. You can't throw a grenade into a wrong spot. It would be a lot better if the players were allowed to make mistakes. You walk into a scorpion, the scorpion jumps onto you, you're dead, and this is our signal for "do not go there", rather than a completely blocked path. What could be done differently: - The game could really use some text. I know it's a lot more complicated than it sounds, with translations and stuff, but that would help build a lot deeper connection with the characters and the world. Someone already mentioned the ending felt underwhelming. It could be fixed by a simple "congratulations, you have completed the game" rather than being dropped out into the main menu. Overall: certainly worth the money and worth your time.
Un Myst-like dans une ambiance post-apo, avec des insectes mutants et des robots. Good vibes.
