Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Bachelairs is a compact yet surprisingly energetic competitive dungeon crawler that showcases Sokpop Collective’s talent for turning small, focused ideas into memorable experiences. True to the studio’s philosophy, the game is built around short play sessions and simple goals, but beneath its approachable surface lies a tense and playful rivalry-driven design. Rather than emphasizing long-term progression or narrative depth, Bachelairs thrives on immediacy, encouraging players to jump in, make quick decisions, and compete for supremacy in brisk, coin-hungry dungeon runs. The premise is deliberately lighthearted and humorous. In a faraway kingdom plagued by dangerous dungeons, a peculiar tournament is held where hopeful bachelors venture underground to collect as much treasure as possible, all in the name of glory, status, and romance. This tongue-in-cheek framing gives the game a whimsical tone without demanding much attention, serving mainly as a fun excuse to pit characters against one another in chaotic treasure hunts. The narrative never overshadows gameplay, but it provides enough flavor to make each run feel like part of a playful competition rather than an abstract score chase. Gameplay revolves around racing through compact dungeons while gathering coins faster and more efficiently than your rivals. Each match is a contained contest, usually lasting only a short time, which keeps tension high from start to finish. Players choose from a roster of colorful characters, each with slight distinctions that influence how they approach combat and exploration. Inside the dungeon, choices matter: coins can be hoarded to secure an early lead, or spent mid-run on upgrades and items that may allow for greater gains later. This risk-reward dynamic forms the heart of the experience, as players must constantly weigh greed against survival and speed. Dungeon design adds further variety through multiple cups and themed stages, each with its own layouts, enemy mixes, and tactical considerations. Procedural elements ensure that no two runs feel exactly the same, even when the overall structure remains familiar. Combat is fast and accessible, focusing more on positioning and timing than complex mechanics, which allows both experienced players and newcomers to compete on relatively even footing. Traps, monsters, and environmental hazards keep the pressure on, making exploration a careful balance between aggression and caution. Visually, Bachelairs carries Sokpop’s recognizable pixel-art charm. Characters are expressive, environments are colorful and readable, and the overall presentation feels playful without being cluttered. The art style supports the game’s fast pace by ensuring that important elements—enemies, coins, exits, and items—are easy to distinguish even when the screen fills with action. Sound design and music complement this energy, reinforcing the arcade-like feel and helping each match feel lively and self-contained. The game shines brightest in local multiplayer, where competition and banter naturally emerge. Short match lengths make it ideal for couch play, allowing players to rotate in and out without long downtime. Solo play against AI is available and functional, offering a way to learn the systems or enjoy the game alone, though it lacks the unpredictability and emotional highs that come from human opponents. The absence of online multiplayer is noticeable, especially given how well the game’s format would suit quick remote matches, and this limitation may affect long-term engagement for players without regular local companions. While Bachelairs delivers a strong core loop, its minimalism also defines its boundaries. There are no sprawling progression systems or deep customization layers to chase over dozens of hours. Instead, replay value comes from mastering routes, experimenting with items, and enjoying the competitive push-and-pull of each run. Minor rough edges, such as small polish issues or limited feature breadth, occasionally surface, but they rarely undermine the fundamental fun of the experience. Ultimately, Bachelairs succeeds by embracing what it is meant to be: a fast, competitive, and charming dungeon race designed for short bursts of excitement. It doesn’t attempt to compete with large-scale roguelikes or expansive dungeon crawlers, instead carving out its own niche as a party-friendly, rivalry-focused experience. For players who enjoy quick matches, local competition, and Sokpop Collective’s distinctive blend of humor and design restraint, Bachelairs offers a lively and memorable slice of indie multiplayer fun that proves small games can still deliver big moments. Fun bit of chaos for a fiver. Need a friend on your couch.
Great local coop.
Very fun game. Best to play with someone.

Really wanted to like this one. It's almost there. It feels slow and the art style is cute and all, but it's difficult to see what's going on, even on a larger TV. The shop segments are confusing and too big. I would play a Bachelairs 2.
It is a great game to play with friends. I've only unlocked the 2nd cup so far, but there are brand new monsters and terrain. very chaotic, so best when not played too seriously.
