Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

1 update per year. Not much has changed from the original game and the progress are next to non-existent and the company does not talk about the plan whatsoever concerning what's going on with the game. Better off with the old original game at this point.
Idk how anyone is even playing this game. Ive tried multiple times to even navigate the main menu and I have no cursor visible or any keys that work to navigate anywhere past the menu screen. Dont waste your time waiting for the refund and dont buy this garbage in the first place.

The game is janky but I wouldn't say that it's bad. the AI does sometimes feel like it's copy and pasted from the original 2000 game and while it isn't the prettiest graphically (apart from maybe the bomber itself) it gets the job done. Gameplay wise I would say it is as advertised. You fly to your target and try not to get shot down by flak or enemy fighters (maybe shoot down some fighters yourself if you're lucky), then you drop your payload and try to get your aircraft home with all ten crewmembers alive. However be aware that this can get repetetive quite quickly. I would conlude that if you are looking for a game about the flying fortress the game is worth a try, though waiting for a sale isn't a bad idea as the 15 euro price point is a bit steep.
I haven't played the original version and even didn't know this game exists until recently. But the movie Memphis Belle (1990) makes me instantly buying this series. In current state its very buggy. I saw one of our squadron suddenly does sharp drop to ground during orbit phase. Sometimes they bumped into each other in midair and make them suicide. Nevertheless, after 22 hours of play, it was unique experience and had great satisfaction. Plus the game price is cheap. I hope devs update more often.
B-17 Flying Fortress: The Mighty 8th Redux This is a nostalgic game for me. I remember growing up with the original version of the game, so it brings me joy to have seen the game getting a "remaster", or at the very least, a touch-up. As a child, I always remembered this game being ruthless. It still is. Moreso in this redux. One bad engine and you're screwed, you're done for. This is rather irritable at times. Nevertheless, it makes a successful mission all the more rewarding. You've gotten a better feel for what the real heroic bomber crews went through with this simulator. 7/10
Does anybody know how not to die on your second mission?
Between the redux and the original I have been playing B-17 The Mighty 8th for well over seventeen years. This version is not perfect. However with the recent improvement to the fighter AI its a lot better than it was. The updated bomber models are a great edition in my opinion. Not to mention the support of modern hotas flight stick setups which make playing this game a lot easier if you also have a setup for dcs or other more modern sims. I am ultimately glad that we b17 fans have this on the market. If your're nastolgic and just want to relive the old game I still recommend picking it up on steam. With that said if you want something new and a bit fresher give this a try its improving slowly but in big ways. If you are a fan of B 17s in general you should have this already lol so get on with it. Still the definitive bomber simulator on the market, a lot of fun maybe a bit of frustrating micromanagement needed hear or there but thats how the game always has been. I do feel like the redux is a bit more difficult in terms of survivability, and there are stutters when aircraft get hit, Its an old game getting some fresh makeup and kinks should be expected. I still recommend it either way and hope that the future of this series stays bright.
If you enjoyed playing the original I highly recomend this one. Relieving trying to get to 25 missions again. Go get it!
This game is complete trash! Spent 3 hours real time in a mission just to have all but the lead plane explode on the runway upon landing due to them running in the back of one another. Escorts don't work. I clicked on a P-47 to see where it was. Found it in a river at the end of the runway. At this point, don't waste your time or money.
Buggy AI. Landings especially.
