Talisman is a fantasy-themed adventure board game, first released in 1983, where you can take on the role of various adventurers, from warriors and wizards, to thieves and ghouls, each with their own strengths and unique abilities. You’ll race against each other to reach the centre of the board first, with the danger ramping up as you get closer and closer.
You’ll fight strong enemies, gain valuable treasure, cast awesome spells, and encounter mysterious strangers on your journey. You’ll need a good mixture of luck and strategy, and to balance risk and reward if you want to emerge the victor!
In Talisman: Digital 5th Edition, the eleventh era has just dawned - the three Great Gods who originally created the Crown of Command have faded into myth. A new champion must rise to claim the Crown and rule the world in the era to come. Will you be that champion?
Revamped Rules: Experience Talisman with updated rules that streamline gameplay, enhancing strategic depth, and ensuring a more balanced and engaging experience for players both old and new.
Modern Design: Enjoy a sleek and intuitive interface designed for seamless navigation and effortless immersion, whether you're playing solo or competing with friends online.
Remastered Classic Expansions: With three fan-favourite Classic expansions already available, we’re fully remaking your 4th Edition expansions as new, 5th Edition versions, free for anyone who owns the original expansions in Talisman: Digital Classic Edition!
The biggest new feature in Talisman: Digital 5th Edition is the Deck Editor, which allows you to fully customise your Talisman experience by adding, removing and adjusting the cards you'll encounter during your game. Save your created decks, play them with your friends online and unleash your creativity with billions of possible combinations, and more being added with each expansion.
Solo or Multiplayer: Play alone against AI opponents or gather your friends for epic multiplayer battles, online or locally.
Expansive Content: Choose from a vast array of characters, each with their own unique abilities, and explore a richly detailed world filled with countless adventures and challenges.
Customizable Experience: Tailor your gameplay experience with the new Deck Editor, various house rules and more ways to customise your Talisman adventure.
Whether you're a seasoned Talisman veteran or a newcomer to the world of fantasy board games, Talisman: Digital 5th Edition will offer an unforgettable journey filled with magic, mystery, and endless possibilities. Are you ready to claim the Crown of Command once and for all? Or will you be turned into a toad again?

UI us absolutely atroscious Game is dumbed down, many features were removed not to hurt new players feelings. FARMER FIGHT GONE FROM THE TAVERN - REFUND! ...overall the 5th edition is ♥♥♥♥♥, back to 4th...
Talisman is a fantastic game, if you don't mind a hefty dose of RNG and a little bit of snowballing. It's an enjoyable form of chaos that is just controllable enough to be a really good time with friends, and rife with those moments where something unexpected happens and everybody yells as the tables suddenly turn. This digital version is rife with problems. It's got awful connectivity issues, the UI misaligns and misfires, giving you actions you didn't click on, it's full of UI animations that slow down the game unnecessarily, you cannot inspect a card without it being your turn and playing everyone a slow animation of the back of the card, etc. As it stands, digital 5th is the same as digital 4th but with very minor rules updates, fewer expansions and absolutely none of the digital conversion's many, many problems fixed. Buy 4th if you must, but avoid this, and know that the game is a thousand times better in person.
Whoo, boy. The bugs. So many. Followers that don't work. Can't cast counterspells when needed. Cast Water Walking then the dice roll anyway, can't cross the river. If you don't like buggy beta tests, skip this one. It's extra sad because we ALREADY went through all this with the classic game, and now the 5th edition has all the same bugs again.
The game is buggy and broken at its core, with bugs and glitches causing you, the player, to leave the game and reload it in order to fix the issue. The most notable I have encountered is when a player is the Tavern Maid character, and is supposed to pick which direction, or tile, an afflicted player will move to. The Tavern Maid player is simply unable to select the tile for some reason, causing the game to become locked. The UI is messy, in that it feels that there is just missing static buttons to better read what is happening, or what is *supposed* to be happening.. like why is the game not playing? Am I supposed to be doing something? What are we waiting on?
Each multiplayer game I've played has ended in a disconnection that becomes impossible to reestablish. It happens an hour or so in to the game, ruining the entire experience. Even when playing with other people in the same house with the same internet connection. This game is a complete waste of money when you can't even finish a single game. They shouldn't even be allowed to sell it until this gets fixed imo.
A good implementation of Talisman, a class fantasy adventure board game. It's hard to get opportunities to play Talisman in real life nowadays, so it's nice to be able to play it on the computer.
No, this just feels bad. Nothing about it makes me want to play again. I knew things were off when the default character was the Dwarf, they gender-swapped the fighter. A bunch of things were changed because that's the trend in 2020. I don't mind it so much but the gameplay feels soft and plain. No balls. It just makes me want to go back to 4th edition.
If you love the board game this is a must. The Coop part of the game is a new and exciting twist on the game.
what a buggy piece of junk (i have played 4 games since I bought it and each one I've been robbed of very likely victory by a different riduculous bug, that should never have got past even the skimpiest of testing regimes)
I love the randomness of this game. I don't win very often, but I enjoy it regardless. I just wish that I could pick my player color.
