Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played a couple of hours. I want to love the game but it is bugged. The mud mines are not working, pathing has issues too, and land reappears once you reload the save game. I have no clue if they are still working on the game or if it is abandonware
Updated June 11th 2026 In Early Access this game was more or less unplayable and in my first review I concluded that there where many good Ideas but I did not recommend the game yet. A lot has happened with the game since then and I have no hesitation to recommend the game today. The developer has made a real effort to create something that is different from the majority of other games that is pumped out in to the market. In many ways they have succeeded but they, and the publisher, has a big challenge - defining the target customer group and finding a way to best promote the game to reach them. Disgruntled gamers that feel "cheated" and a hurricane of bad reviews can be devastating. Another "problem" is that many gamers look at the activities in forums to get a feel for the game prior to buying. Aztecs The Last Sun is not a game that typically will have a vibrant and active community. As mentioned it is a bit tricky to describe the game for protentional buyers. My best attempt would be to call it an illustrated storybook merged with different game elements from city builders, adventures, exploration, survival and more. The "Campaign" is the original game as intended and it is really well made. You get a quite elaborate storyline to follow from Aztec creation myths. The remaining problem with the game today is that the difficulty levels are very unbalanced. Story (easy) is really the only way the game is playable as it is today. It is OK for fresh players but it will probably soon feel a bit to easy for most players. Naturally you will then go for Adventure (normal) difficulty, but there you are likely to hit a brick wall. The difference between the two levels is way over the top. "Normal" really feels like it is close to what the hardest should be. I have not tried Survival (hard) as I see no point what so ever. If Adventure is virtually impossible for most players Survival is simply not playable. There has been added Sandbox and Creative modes to the game. I generally feel that Creative mode ("no cost, no risk") in games are pointless and a waste of the devs resources but if you like it why not try. The sandbox option in the game is quite good as the devs have made an effort to make it work. However I do not think this will be enough to hold on to the players over time as traditional city builders often do. To get e feel for the game and the mechanics you should start playing the campaign in Story mode. Then you perhaps will play aroud a bit in sandbox to find a city layout that are better then what you had initially created before you go for a new full campaign. If devs manage to fix the difficulty problem it would be natural to try playing an entire storyline with the adventure difficulty. I believe the game is well worth the price when you are aware of what you actually get. When you get to the point that you feel that it is enough you should should have had at least somewhere between 50 and 100 hours of entertainment.
