Aviator - Bush Pilot

First of all, do not purchase this game. This isn't really worth downloading if it was free. The Good: I'll start with my personal anecdotal experience playing this game. - Performance wasn't terrible like a lot of people seem to describe but I'm playing this on a 3600/2060/32GB @3000mhz with a 165hz/1440p monitor. 75fps+ - Gameplay wise the game felt pretty light on overall system resources, I could happily watch YT and interact on discord while playing without the game freaking out every pause. - The game doesn't punish you very hard for failing any early missions (though I think that's more a mercy since they made the missions awful) The Mediocre - The game does kind of work and although there isn't a practice mode since failing missions at the start doesn't hurt you after like the 4th fail you can practice to your hearts content with few repercussions. - While there are better games to learn how to use a new flight stick on if you just bought one, this game can be a little bit of a jump in the deep end if you want to panic figure out your new toy. The game does fly straight so your flight stick's setup is probably the problem if you're all over the place at neutral settings. The game does not ascend or descend correctly at all though. Plus your keyboard can heavily affect the rudders without you doing anything. You use the arrow keys to kinda just set the stock climb rate and touching it the wrong way can send you into an unrecoverable nosedive for no reason. - Mission "variety" is fine, everything else about missions goes into the "Bad" category but at least there's like a dozen different things to do even if they all boil down to take off, land at another air strip, press V, walk around for a minute, then return to plane, take off, go home. The Bad - This game is unfinished in the worst way. You fly a plane for basically the entire game and there aren't any customization options for the plane controls. There isnt a throttle only an "on ground brake." You cant steer while trying to take off aside from the yaw so if for some reason you start leaning one direction and you dont realize it right away you can slam into a wall and fail immediately. - The missions at the start are fine, they take 8-12min each and you make enough money to get to level 2 after 3-4. Then the game sends you on 20 minute missions where you get in the air, fly straight in a direction avoid a few mountains because you aren't allowed to fly more than a 2500ft high, land at a random airfield of which you have no throttle control so you more "crash with style" every time. Do something stupid like take a picture of a herd of animals or a person and then run 800m back to your plain at about 8m a second. BORING. - The planes suck, handling on the first one can be wrestled with a bit and fully upgraded you can almost feel like you know what you're doing but it still sucks. Planes 2 and 3 are hot garbage and I havent even spent the time to do number 4 because at this point I realize the game has nothing else to offer. - Economy, now you cant sell anything; but the amount of money you get for missions is awful. Time attack missions being the worst because you're very likely to fail those and you lose money on fails. Everything you can buy is pretty expensive I'd say a fully loaded out 4th plane is asking for about 57 completed missions at around 20min each at best, is 19hrs of solid gameplay loop. As you can tell looking at other reviews I'd say 3hrs is about all the patience most people would have on this game in it's entirety. In conclusion: Don't buy this game, if you got the game through any myriad of bundles, dont play this game. If you're frustrated after playing this game for a few hours and came on here to see if everyone else had the same experience the answer is yes. There may be some small hidden merit to screwing around with this game if you're dumpster diving but even then it's just not very good, 3/10 at best toss it in the hidden games category and leave it alone.

The game was 20 years behind its times on release. Cannot recommend, there is no fun to be had here.

ブッシュパイロット（荒野専門の飛行機野郎）になって各地を飛び回り様々な仕事をこなしていくゲーム シムコプターの飛行機版と言ったら分かりやすいかも？ アイディアは良かったんですが… このテのゲームの常としてキーボードでまともに飛べない。せめて爽快に操作出来れば褒めようもあるのですが、飛べなくてはどうしようもないです。 正直ミッションがどうこう云うまで飛べませんでした。
