Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

NOTE: This is the first chapter of a 4-chapter game, so know that going in. I'd recommend getting this one and the second one, as this chapter is on the short side and the two of them together stand alone well if you decide you don't want to invest in the whole series. Anyway, this game is delightful, the characters are fun, the humor is zany and the story and combat are both pretty good. Overall an entertaining casual RPG. Play it, dorks!
All the Aveyond games have great story. This is a rather short first part of the the third game, but it does a good job of introducing the characters. Much love for Aveyond series.
Aveyond 3-1: Lord of Twilight is a charming old-school RPG with genuinely beautiful maps, a fun cast of characters, and some surprisingly witty dialogue that kept me smiling throughout. That said, the lack of direction is a real issue — I found myself wandering between areas repeatedly with little idea of where to go next, and the fast travel system feels too expensive to be a reliable solution to all the backtracking. Combat is simple but serviceable, and the touch-based encounters at least let you avoid fights when you want to. Just be aware going in that this is only the first chapter of four, and a couple of quests literally cannot be finished until the next game. If you pick it up on sale and enjoy classic RPG Maker adventures, it's worth the ride — just keep a guide handy.
WELL MADE
A classic
I got this game on sale because I played it when I was nine years old and wanted to relive what was, back then, an amazing experience. This game still has a special place in my heart as the first JRPG I ever played, as well as the first story-based game I ever played. This game probably changed the trajectory of my life a good bit, and I have to respect it for that. That being said, this game commits just about every sin it's possible for a JRPG to commit. It's riddled with cliches and recycled fantasy settings, the gameplay is unbalanced and unengaging, and the story as a whole is arbitrarily separated into multiple episodes so the creator can squeeze as much money as possible out of their players. I like the characters, particularly Mel and the dynamic between Te'ijal and Galahad, but none of them really get that many opportunities to show off their personalities, which was very disappointing.
