For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

Aveyond 3-1: Lord of Twilight is the opening chapter of the Orbs of Magic saga developed by Amaranth Games, LLC and published on Steam by KOMODO. As part of the long-running Aveyond series, it embraces the traditions of classic 2D role-playing games, offering turn-based combat, a large overworld to explore, and a story rooted in prophecy, magic, and reluctant heroism. While firmly grounded in old-school design philosophy, it delivers a surprisingly expansive adventure filled with humor, charm, and narrative twists that set the stage for the broader trilogy. The story centers on Mel, a young and somewhat mischievous thief whose life takes a dramatic turn after a seemingly routine job goes disastrously wrong. Unbeknownst to her, she carries the bloodline of Darkthrop, a powerful and infamous sorcerer tied to an ancient prophecy. When she steals a mysterious orb for a shadowy client, she inadvertently places herself in the crosshairs of a vampire lord intent on fulfilling a dark destiny. What begins as a survival struggle quickly escalates into a globe-spanning quest involving magical artifacts, hidden identities, and looming catastrophe. The narrative balances serious stakes with lighthearted dialogue, maintaining a tone that shifts comfortably between drama and humor. Gameplay follows a traditional top-down RPG structure reminiscent of early console-era titles. Players guide Mel and her companions across a sprawling world map dotted with towns, dungeons, forests, and mountains. Exploration is encouraged, with hidden treasures, optional side quests, and skill-based obstacles rewarding curious players. Certain areas become accessible only after acquiring new abilities, encouraging backtracking and giving the world a sense of interconnectedness. The design emphasizes gradual discovery rather than linear progression. Combat is turn-based and party-driven, requiring players to manage a roster of characters with distinct abilities and roles. Each party member contributes unique strengths, whether in magical offense, healing, or physical combat. As battles grow more challenging, strategic planning becomes essential. Equipment upgrades, skill allocation, and resource management play key roles in maintaining party viability. While the system is straightforward compared to more modern RPGs, it remains engaging due to the steady introduction of new party members and abilities. The world-building is one of the game’s strongest aspects. Towns are populated with numerous non-player characters who offer quests, lore, and humorous interactions. The environments range from snowy wildernesses to eerie caverns and bustling villages, providing visual and thematic variety. Although built using a retro-style engine, the maps are thoughtfully constructed and avoid feeling generic. The pixel art aesthetic complements the classic RPG structure, evoking nostalgia while maintaining clarity. Pacing can be deliberate, and players may encounter occasional difficulty spikes that require grinding for experience or currency. This reflects the game’s adherence to traditional RPG mechanics. For players accustomed to streamlined modern design, this can feel dated. However, fans of classic role-playing games may appreciate the methodical progression and the satisfaction of steadily building a stronger party through exploration and combat. As the first chapter of a larger story arc, Lord of Twilight functions primarily as setup. Major plot threads are introduced but not fully resolved, leaving questions that carry into subsequent installments. While this episodic structure may feel incomplete for those seeking a fully self-contained narrative, it effectively establishes stakes and character motivations for the trilogy. Overall, Aveyond 3-1: Lord of Twilight stands as a faithful homage to classic role-playing traditions. Its combination of expansive exploration, character-driven storytelling, and nostalgic turn-based combat creates a rich foundation for the Orbs of Magic saga. While its old-school pacing and mechanics may not appeal to every modern player, those who appreciate traditional RPG structure, humorous dialogue, and long-form fantasy storytelling will find it a charming and substantial adventure that rewards patience and dedication. Who do I contact to fix the game? I installed it brand new. No previous files, so after loading in. There is no text in any of the boxes. Every single text is completely gone!!!!! The game is fun to play to pass the time but cant really do that not knowing what I'm selecting. I'll change my recommendation after its fixed but cant really recommend something that is broken.
çocukken babamla birçok defa bitirdiğimiz seri. 3 yıl önce farkında olmadan son kez oynamışız. beni oyunlarla tanıştırdığın için teşekkür ederim. 🖤
No reason to play this game.
Old school retro game, played at least 5 times and still coming back :). I peresonally think Aveyond 3 is my favourite among the four entries in this series so far.
Small game but feels like a big game. loving it so much! <3

I love how cohesive the story is and how well the characters are likable. My main issue is that I would occasionally go to interact with something and my computer would freeze. It wasn't one thing in particular and saving often as well as running the game in Windows XP compatibility mode helped it run a little better. I'm hoping Gates of Night won't have that issue, but time will tell.
