Avadon 2: The Corruption

Good Game, The first and third one are better, but still it's great to play the three games. Contrary to the first and third game, I really didn't see the need to replace Redbeard in this one.

Classic Spiderweb RPG experience that we (older players) love and respect from 1995 , ~30 years.

Avadon 2: The Corruption is another great entry in the Avadon series by Spiderweb Software and has a lot of choices and interesting characters. Also introducing a new character type in the Tinkermage. Which is personally my favorite. Overall, this is a great retro-style turn-based CRPG with a lot of fun and charm.

If you like old-school turn-based RPGs, this is another great one from Spiderweb Software. While the graphics are a bit dated, the story and combat are not. Give it a try. You've got about 80 hours of enjoyment ahead.

If innovation doesn't bother you and you just want to play the same game over and over Spiderweb stuff is for you. Some of the writing was ok but I've played a few of the titles now and they are literally all the same game with slightly changed story and well the art....it literally stays the same also, its wasn't great in the first place so you know, reusing it over and over is probably not a great idea, a new artist would perhaps inject some much needed *innovation* into the series. Also not really a fan of the low key satanic/fascist symbolism either. (i.e. The Fringe Political Black, Red and White Flag Templates historically used by terrible organisations across the world and the Inverted Pentagrams Everywhere.). Makes me wonder about the creative directors tbh.

Great turn based RPG.

[b]Yoshiria[/b] She was that quiet, lonely presence in class, who later discovered she could make a decent living selling marijuana. [b]Dedrik[/b] was the eco-warrior of the group, devoted to recycling, reusing, and saving the planet, who became Yoshiria’s favorite client. And [b]Alcander[/b] is the guy who never studied, the one your parents always warned you about: "you will see when you will grow up, what is happening to him!" and today he's making more money and being more successful than you.

Surprisingly fun. I'd suggest an on sale buy. You won't like this game if you need a modern rpg UI. In this one you can't even see your action points or anything... old school... wander about until you figure out where to go and what combat moves work. Graphics are ehh.. but doesn't bother me. Story so far is very good....

LOVED IT!

Great game until you get near the end, then very difficult battles (even on casual level) that made me quit the game. Very annoying. Buy it if cheap, but don't expect to finish it
