AV-Racer

This game is a blast! Trying to beat your personal lap times and playing the career mode is really fun. I enjoy the different classes of cars and the drifting physics. The game reminds me of RC Pro-Am on the NES

One of the Best 2D Racing Games = AV-Racer

Man bekommt für den sehr geringen Preis eine Menge. Das Fahrverhalten ist gut und die Kampagne ist motivierend. Ich bin selbst als Fan des Amigas aufgewachsen , es kann zwar nicht mit Super Cars 2 mithalten, aber es macht ähnlich Spaß. :)

A nice game that can be enjoyed either on it's own, or while also watching something or while talking to someone. Although the controls are a little challenging, but it's charming in a sense. You get used to them with a little practice and gives you something to work towards. With the multiple tracks that are available to play, each are different and also require a bit of getting used to, which is nice. I like the competitive nature of this game and the price is fairly reasonable :)

I enjoy the game, the only thing I would change are the walls, instead of making them thick black lines I would have made them look like a brick wall so they stand out a bit more.

[u][h1]Great top-down racing game![/h1][/u] After playing this for a bit, getting through a couple of the Career mode levels, checking out the options and settings and features, I can totally 100% recommend this game. [i][b]Especially[/b][/i] at the £2.09 price tag! There is a lot of content in this game. Not only to do with races in the form of solo mode or career races, but with map timings, trophy collections, car style and number. A lot of neat features packed into this game that all add to the overall experience. If at any point the game begins to feel too easy, they have multiple different difficulties. Furthermore, there is a manual transmission mode which adds to the experience. The style of this game is really well thought out. The retro TV filter, the HUD, the music, etc all work together in unison very well. It makes me feel like I'm playing a game that I would find at a retro arcade! My only criticism is that I personally feel like the speedometer in the bottom left should be changed a tiny bit. The colour choices are fine, and the look of the gear and speed is fine, but personally the bar that indicates the speed of the car should have it's own element/bordered box, rather than be snug/tight against the border of the screen. Even if it is pressed up against the edge of the window, I feel like it should have some sort of border to it. Also, the walls are kind of hard to recognise. Maybe making them a brick texture or something more noticeable would be better. For £2.09, I would definitely recommend. A lot of good content packed into this simple but sweet arcade racing game!
