222 Hearts is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one has one notable difference, in order to pass through each level, instead of just timing your jumps, you plan them with the mouse, clicking to start the jump and setting the direction. This allows you to trajectorise your double-jumps, which is needed to avoid all the spikes and so on. Needless to say this wasn't the shot in the arm that the old, dead, and obsolete 2D platforming genre needed. It's a flop. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? 222 Hearts is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

Bastante bueno, es un juego muy simple, tiene solo tres bandas sonoras, la de los stages la del boss y la de los creditos, posee un diseño de mapa muy nomal (en realidad solo hay un mapa) y los niveles son bastante faciles para alguien que ya esta esperimentado en juegos de este estilo, el juego esta muy bien si quieres pasar una tarde jugando algo divertido y un poco desafiante PD: recomiendo comprarlo en descuento ;D
Even though this game is already very cheap, I can only really recomend this game when it's on sale. All the levels are very short, the difficulty is inconsistent, and the controls are lacking, which can make certain puzzles more frustrating than they should have been. it's only a 4/10 at best,. so only grab if the genre appeals to you.
コントローラもしくはキーボード+マウスが角度調整の点から推奨 ゲーム内容はステージの♡を回収しつつゴールへ向かうシンプルな アクションゲームで後半他に比べびっくりするぐらい難しいステージがあったりしますがプレイを通しこのゲームをうまくなっていくことを自覚できるところが笑えます。ボス戦が単調、同じ動きを繰り返すことから失敗すると同じ事の繰り返しになるのでそこは苦痛かも、ゲームを通してみると色々思うところもあるがキャラが可愛く低価格でここまで遊べるならモンスターの代わりにこのゲームを買うのもいいかもね。
Game is not expensive at all and good fun for a good hour. The soundtrack that consists of 1 song can get a bit repetitive and theres no story to talk about either. The dash mechanic is decent enough, hitboxes can feel very hit or miss and some levels may take you a few tries. Controls (i played with controller) too can be a little janky. If you need a very quick plattformer fix that you can finish in about 1 hour, i can recommend this.
A very short little platformer where you dash around collecting hearts. You can dash again if you collect one while in mid-air, and that's the crux of the gameplay - chaining together jumps and dashes while trying not to die. The artstyle is cute, and while the bosses are fairly simple, I still found it fun and rewarding to beat them and their crazy machines. The game is cheap enough that I can safely say give it a try if you like the genre, and maybe even a try if you haven't played that many platformers before. It might not be the longest thing you've ever played, but I guarantee you'll enjoy this [b]heartful[/b] adventure.
Short and Sweet platformer. Played it sparingly in a day and completed it. Overall the only thing I didn't liked was the fact that there was only one music track for the most part, but even then you don't grow tired of it. If you like platformers and need to scratch that itch, go for it.
