Playing this game has been so much fun, it has the balance between reality (taking racing line for example) and the arcade feel of the game. the controls of the game are not hard, they might be at first but after couple of races I got pretty used to it, I haven't got the chance to play the game with a controller, but the keyboard is doing great for me for now. The most exciting part of this game for me is learning the maps and getting the best lap times I can get, I hope a leaderboard feature will be added in the future to raise the competitiveness of this game. at least between friends for starters. I'm looking forward for this game's future!!!

Nice retro racer with a motivating career mode. Reminds me of ye good olde Amiga times :) If you're interested, but hesitate to buy: Look at the price ;) It's well worth the money.

Though this game was provided for free, it will not influence my review. This game definitely has some fun to be had as of right now, but it also has the potential to be even better. The game overall has a nice feel to the driving that makes sense. It's quite fun to pull off perfect turns and get new fastest laps on tracks. There's also quite a lot to do in the career. There are several championships/cups with many races within each. You can also enjoy yourself by attempting to improve upon lap times. They even recently added a leaderboard for players to be able to check their times recently. You can also race with people in real life via local multiplayer, so if that is something you wish to do, then you're able to. Somethings that could be improved are: The first thing is that CPU drivers intentionally knocking you off the track, along with themselves, is extremely annoying at times. The computer will often ruin their own placement just to sabotage you, even on lower difficulties. I also agree with what another reviewer said and would prefer if walls/obstacles were made more apparent and visible. Right now they're just a black line, which doesn't really stand out. A ghost racing mode/time trial mode would be nice for people who like to try and improve their lap times on tracks. Currently, you just have to set up a single race and race it, then go back to the menu and check your leaderboard positions. It would be really nice as well if we could edit the amount of laps in career races. For me personally, I prefer low lap counts in racing games most of the time, as having too many laps makes races more repetitive, boring, and they serve no real purpose, as after a certain point, it's unlikely any meaningful positions will be changing. I also prefer the style of starting strong, which goes well with lower lap counts. A very minor annoyance is that while playing with keyboard and mouse, you can't use the mouse to navigate the menu, and you are forced to use the arrow keys. Being able to at least use the WASD keys would be nice since your hand will already be on those keys. A couple of the most obvious improvements that could be made would be adding [strike]achievements and/or[/strike] trading cards.[strike] This would give players more to work towards, while also possibly providing extra little challenges depending on how the achievements are done.[/strike] Edit 07/28/2022: Achievements have been added. With all of these suggestions, they would just make the game better, but the game is not bad without them. I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for a little, isometric racer. The price seems justified for what you get here, and the game has been receiving updates, so that helps with making this worth the asking price.

I loved the design and the fact it is compatible with a controller. There are thousand differrent car games on Steam but this one is different with the fact it's 2D, everyone can play in 3D but the bird perspective here makes the game very challenging and arcade. I recommend trying out! Thumbs up :)

Very fun game! I really enjoyed the retro style of racing and the original bird's eye view point. Would definitely recommend it!

Man bekommt für den sehr geringen Preis eine Menge. Das Fahrverhalten ist gut und die Kampagne ist motivierend. Ich bin selbst als Fan des Amigas aufgewachsen , es kann zwar nicht mit Super Cars 2 mithalten, aber es macht ähnlich Spaß. :)
