About
About this game:
Automate Defend Repeat combines factory building with tower defense. As you build your factory you will find you need new materials to continue. You obtain those materials by placing a building called a Thumper. The Thumper triggers monsters to spawn and attack it. You can defeat those monsters for rare resources to unlock new technology. Defeating the Boss of each resource type will allow you to build miners to get more of the rare resource, or to build the next Thumper. Automate your factory, Defend your thumpers, and Repeat!

Boss Fights: When you are ready to progress, summon and defeat the boss to unlock the next level of tower defense.

Factory game combined with Tower Defense. Overall I think a good start to a game and the dev should continue to develop. https://youtu.be/UJdYOYMg-sw Factory gameplay: Resource movement is a little weird when comparing to other factory games. Most games like that require in input point and output point. Satisfactory has inputs specifically for the belts. DSP has the sorters which bring from the belts into buildings. This is kinda of just drops out and lands on whatever happen to be there. Gonna need a little different thinking when building big automation lines. Splitters and Passthroughs - I like that there's passthroughs, some games dont really have that without elevation changes. However seems like they interact strangely when next to each other. Would be nice to be able to turn different directions on and off. Tower Defense is interesting. I'm not sure if it's always on-demand, or is random/timer later. You have to build specifically to fight the waves based on the pathing. Combat is "on-demand". You activate a building to summon them. Some Quality of Life things I think they need to consider: - Cancelling things in the queue - When you click one, it cancels all of that type. It should only cancel the one you click on. - Need to be able to move things up in the queue without cancelling. Since production stops if anything runs out, it's a pain to manage the queues with only cancelling. - Adjust the beginning manual creation totals for belts. The manual process for making the ingots, then the wire, then the magnet, then the belts, and then getting a fraction of belts compare to the materials, was frustrating and a chore. Maybe make it so you get 3 belts instead of just 1. That would have made the entire beginning much less frustrating. Again, I think it's a good start, and with some TLC to the automation portions and general ambiance of the game, would be a good starter factory game, especially one that's family friendly.
Great game that's an awesome cross between tower defense and factory management. Building huge chains of buildings and finding ways for them to be as efficient as possible is incredibly satisfying, and then getting to launch those same resources at monsters just makes it even better!
Great indie game, looking forward to more!
This game is pretty great, having to solve the tower defense portion to continue to the next tier has been pretty fun.
O jogo é feio, chato, com tutorial todo estranho e a gameplay mais estranha ainda. Pra piorar demora anos pra conseguir conquistas no jogo, então boa sorte pra quem tentar platinar, vai literalmente perder várias centenas de horas.
got the game today and it is just a DEMO still, so... no idea
