I honestly can't remember ever playing this game.
I had the pleasure of testing this last week for the developer and was pleasantly surprised! The songs included are great. There's a simple but nice progression/unlocking system, and the visuals have a high level of polish. It's a simple music experience and the trailer doesn't really do it justice (like most VR content at this time). I also feel the game is priced appropriately. If you like music beat games you'll enjoy this.
This is a great rhythm game! The trailer really doesn't do it justice - the game looks and feels much better in action. Gameplay is so simple and satisfying. Music is absolutely amazing and everything is synced up perfectly. Worth every $. Hell, for amount of fun you get out of this game I'd say it's worth twice as much!

You're in a cylinder. You move a space ship on the inner surface (excluding bottom and top) using a controller of your choice (even gaze control is available). You avoid hitting colored circles and try to pick up the powerups that kill them. When you pick up a powerup, you try to match the beat of the song. There's enough content to last almost two hours if you try to get 3 stars for all songs (easy) and all the achievements (fairly difficult). If you need more after that, you can compete on the global leaderboards. Apparently those offer good competition, since I only got into the top10 for one song during my 1.7 hours. The price is right, controls work and you can play standing or sitting. If you're interested in a 2D Xortex, you should definitely give this one a go.
A great game and a very enjoyable VR experience. Some sense of rhythm recommended :)
Loving this game. Few minutes to pick it up and once you do you're hooked.
So I got this game in a bundled sale (added on game for about $1.50 extra when I bought another game on sale that I wanted) and I didn't think i would like it that much, but I figured it's only $1.50, no big deal if it ends up being a turd. I ended up loving this game and not liking the other game so much (a mini-golf game by same dev). Bullet hell games don't really appeal to me. But this is not exactly that. Games controlled by gaze also don't really appeal to me (luckily, you can guide the ship with motion controls or gamepad). This is actually one of the most fun VR music rhythm games and it's very different than anything else out there in VR. One of the reasons I didn't want this game is because I just didn't see what VR would bring to the table to this type of game. It's not like you need a depth of field to play this game. But oh boy, was I wrong. VR makes this game even better because you have a screen that just keeps moving to wherever you're headed. The music is not something that I would listen to outside of the game. But it's very well in sync with the gameplay. You play to the beat. I never felt frustrated or stressed out by the gameplay. The game increased my enjoyment of the in-game music and it made me want to move up on the leaderboards. My main gripe with the game is that, at least with the motion controls, navigating the menu UI was cumbersome. Also, the colored shields pick-ups are pretty worthless. I wish there were more songs or that we had the ability to add our own songs. However, I can't really complain too much about that given the price. Rating 8/10
Only been able "read allowed"to play this for a short time but had a fun time and know this is well worth recommending others buy. Music is unexpectedly good and the movement and gameplay feel immediately natural. Whilst this isn't a particularly immersive vr experience, anyone that likes fun music / reaction titles will dig this. Really looking forward to playing this one again. Give it a go.
I'm a sucker for games with good music
