Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The open world is lag af. Alchemy part is being simplified a lot since Sophie. Would not recommend for whose love playing with the alchemy part (the main part of the game).

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm glad I didn't purchase this at launch. That pretty much sums up my feelings for the game. I'm a big fan of the Atelier franchise. I have played every entry since Rorona and its grown to be one of my favorite series. When I saw that the game was going to be $70, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be worth that much. I bought it during the recent sale (June 2025) and if I had paid full price I would have felt ripped off. First of all, this game is very different from the past entries in the series. The game implements an open world design, and for the first few hours I enjoyed what it had to offer. The exploration grew very stale very quickly though. You essentially have the same tasks to do in every region of the game, and you have to do a lot of them to stand a chance of finishing it. These tasks involve doing simple puzzles that were cool at first, but by the endgame I was just ignoring them and going for the end. The Alchemy system is radically different compared to previous games. It feels extremely barebones, and the alchemy is my favorite part of what this series has to offer. There really is no thought behind it. You gather resources and if you have enough of them you can get extremely powerful gear without thinking anything through. This does open the game to newcomers more but as a fan of the alchemy systems in games past it left a lot to be desired. The combat... is there technically. Its a purely real time battle system which was a refresher compared to the turn based combat from before. However its extremely button mashy. In the endgame I found that I just had to spam buttons, heal when needed, and I didnt even have to move. It has a lot of potential though. The final boss was a very entertaining fight, and if a lot of the games' encounters were like that the combat would have been a lot better. The story was decent. A little darker compared to previous games which I personally liked. The characters I found to be enjoyable, and I liked Yumia as a protagonist. I felt the story did what it had to do and I had no complaints there. I still recommend the Ryza trilogy if you are wondering where to start out. IMO, avoid this game at full price but if there is a sale, go for it. I didn't feel like my time was wasted, but if I had paid full price I would have felt a lot differently about this game.
When I heard that Atelier Yumia was going to be open world and have a grittier story, I was really excited. I played the demo, and from what was in the demo, I really liked it. I preordered this game thinking I was going to enjoy it. I was sadly mistaken. I really tried to give this game a chance. I wanted to love it like I loved Sophie, Lydie and Suelle, Firis, Escha and Logy, Ayesha, Ryza etc. I've played quite a few Atelier titles, and I have to say this is the most disappointing title in the series. It doesn't feel like an Atelier game. It plays like a modern gacha game, which for $70 is abysmal. The crafting doesn't feel rewarding, the lack of a cauldron (a staple in every Atelier game), the characters in your party don't stand out to me AT ALL. They just feel like archetypes of any anime character that ever existed, and I feel that a key part of what makes Atelier special is the characters. The game constantly distracts you from the story at hand by having these little pathways that show up every 5 seconds that only lead to materials that I could've collected without it. For an exploration based game, exploring is not fun. You are constantly interrupted by those pathways that take you to basic materials, and the sheer amount of monsters in the area makes it to where I'm not sticking around in one area for long. I don't normally complain about the character models, but some of them are so off-putting. The characters that come to mind are the siblings that are in your party. They look like someone edited their oc into the game, which is a shame because all the other characters have gorgeous models, especially the villains. And there is no reason why this game should perform so badly on my PC. Monster Hunter Wilds runs better on my PC than this. Now for the things I did like. The exploration tools are fun. While I did get interrupted by many things, the times where I actually used the tools were nice. The black sheep lady has a really good story compared to other characters in the game, and she might honestly be one of the most complex characters I've seen in an Atelier game. From what I've seen of the story, it does meet my expectations for something darker. I like the combat system. The environments are pretty, even though they're cluttered. I really enjoyed the addition of housing. I'm glad they at least kept the barrel tradition going. Overall, I can't recommend this game unless you reallyyyy like gacha games for their gameplay.
60 hours and 100% complete all of the achievement. To be honest, if this is an JRPG game, I would give 8/10. As an Atelier game, the highest I can give is 7.0/10 Story is good, it is quite a dark story compare to post Arland Atelier series. I always invest this series story since every characters has its own charm. Combat is a bit different than usual Atelier series game (I am always welcome Atelier to try different type of combat system instead of turn based). As for the alchemy, by far this is the most water down experience compare to the previous entry. It is not bad as per se, but it feels like the alchemy has taking a back seat. Hence it feels like the alchemy in this game is quite easy compare to other entries. Would I recommend this game to new user? I say if you want to approach the Atelier series, the older series (Ryza) would be a better choice. But if you really like the environment and character, I say wait for KT/Gust discount to buy this game to enjoy it.
