We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 27: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
I first played this game years ago on my Switch but, for one reason or another, never managed to finish it. It was actually my introduction to the Atelier series, and I’m genuinely glad it was. Even after all this time, I still find it hard to find any real fault with it. The crafting system remains one of my favourite aspects; it’s intricate, satisfying, and endlessly rewarding once you start understanding its layers. The story has a charm that’s both relaxing and engaging + The OST is absolutely beautiful. One criticism (and it’s purely a matter of personal taste) would be the lack of an English dub. I know the Japanese voice acting is excellent but there’s something about hearing the dialogue in my own language that makes me feel more immersed. All in all... 10/10 would buy ultimate collector's edition again
Best game overall in Mysterious series of Atelier games. Main story is good, one of the better ones in Ateliers I have played. Characters are fun and interesting, with good individual storylines. Combat system has a lot of options. Alchemy system is build around filling the grid, offers a lot of options and flexibility and will keep you doing new recipes for hours.
There are so many good things that I wanted to say about this game, which make this game the top Atelier game for me, right behind Mana Khemia and Ar Tonelico. The QOL in Ryza 1 are improved a lot in this game: - List of available (obtained/not obtained) drops on every gathering spot are shown on every map AND on every gathering spot. It's not something necessary since there's no time limit in this game so we don't need to be selective when choosing gathering spot. But a very good QOL nonetheless. Very useful when doing requests or hunting specific mats/monsters. - They also brought back the small chibi head icon showing up on maps whenever a new event available. Kinda disappointed they removed this from Ryza 1. - Fast-forward button in events are very useful to reduce the time following the story. - Auto-save feature is available an an Atelier game (finally!). This game crashed several times on SteamDeck and it only ran smooth with low graphic setting, so auto-save is an auto-win solution. Huge graphic improvement especially on characters models compared to Ryza 1. I especially don't like the shading on the Ryza 1's 3d character model faces. They looked jarring for some reason. I'm so glad they don't use the same style for this game. Gameplay-wise, there are many things they brought back from previous Mysterious games and Ryza 1: - Night time doesn't make monsters aggresive (stronger), just like in Ryza. There are traits that can make characters stronger depending on the time of day, but there's no way I use those situational traits on top of Dragon God's Blessing traits lol - The changing weather mechanic make the maps feel so dynamic (different enemies/boss/gather materials/terrains on each weather). - Camping feature from Firis is available here, though it's kinda useless because the game is not open world and we can instantly go back to the Atelier. Using camp is consuming item as well so it's another L. - Love that it retains the usual synthesis mechanic from mysterious series. it was fun because it performs like tetris and easier to get items with high quality. They went back to the usual full turn-based battle mechanic instead of semi-action like Ryza 1. To be honest I like Ryza's battle system a lot, but there are few things that Sophie 2 kind of different compared to other Mystrious titles: - Battle speed x2.0 is available here. I love seeing this feature on my turn-based games. - Twin actions make the battles in early game piss easy. you can just spam it and the enemies die in 5 seconds. Ultimates are called Dual Trigger and are activated with two characters instead of one. - By pressing R1/RB we can see which character the enemy will attack in their next turn by pressing, making the battles easier because you can make the characters guard beforehand. But you'll end up not using it 99% of the time. Sophie 2 OSTs for me are more memorabble here compared to other Atelier games. There are few that caught my attention when exploring. Most of the time though Atelier OST are usually forgettable. Story and character development/interactions are what made Sophie 2 shine the most among other Atelier games. I love the premise. There are depressing moments especially at the beginning. The interactions between not only the playable characters, but NPC are done so well. It has higher standard for a Atelier game for me than what I've experienced before. So I'm glad I've experienced it until the end. The only con that I could give to this game is that container is way too small. There's no way to extend container like in Lydie&Suelle so near the endgame you'll spend some time removing unwanted materials every time you go back to the atelier. This is kind of annoying because every map gives a lot, I mean A LOT of loots to pick up. If you're a hoarder in an RPG like me, you'll end up meeting this obstruction point sooner or later. --- Hours later into working, and I'm still thinking about the ending. It's similar to the ending of TLoH: Trails in the Sky 3rd. But this time I cried like a baby. It was sadder than I expected. I didn't believe it when that happened. I cried because of an Atelier game. The last time I cried because of a game is at the ending of Tales of the Abyss. I love Sophie so much as an MC. For me, both her looks and personality are league better compared to other Atelier MCs. I'm sad that her journey has finished long before I played this game, but I had to force myself to uninstall the game today so that I can peacefully move on to the next stories. 8/10
