After finishing the DX version for Ryza 3...I can safely say that my opinion of the game from when I first played a couple years ago has not changed. It's pretty to look at, the characters are as likeable as ever (Bos even gets to be playable this time), and there's many QoL changes to Alchemy, Exploration, and Combat that make everything feel so fluid. The game does have some problems...and while I still think Ryza 2 is the best of the trilogy overall...this one is a great entry nonetheless. Now let me list a few pros and cons I experienced during my playthrough: PROS: + Crafting system returns from the previous games and is just as fun to break as it's always been. + Ultra Purity is a super trait you can get extremely early, and makes obtaining infinite gems easier then its ever been. + Combat is similar to the previous game, but feels a bit faster and once you have them built...very easy to spam your ultimate items to destroy everything. + The world is gorgeous to both look at and explore. It's not exactly "open world"...but that just means the devs were able to fill each area with purpose and make it feel alive. + It was satisfying to see the cast we've spent the past 3 games with reach the conclusion of their arcs...and while it's sad to say goodbye...I'm glad the journey happened at all. + All the original DLC is included in the DX version, alongside a new side story. CONS: - The third act/ending goes on just way too long. There's a lot of going from one place to another and watching a cutscene about how they don't know how to do the thing yet, and you could easily shave off 10 hours of game if you tighten that up a bit. - The newer characters are fun...but they do sort of bloat an already large cast of returning characters. So I never felt like using them in battle when I unlocked them. (Especially when the DX version adds a few other returning characters from the past games). - Recipe Morph is almost non-existent in this one. Very few items can be created through Recipe Morphing so you can't synthesize the most broken weapon the world has ever seen like you could in the other two. - I had a few points where the game would stutter randomly and sometimes close the window on me. Limiting my framerate seemed to fix most of this...but it's a shame I had to do that in the first place. - There is no upgrade path for owners of the original Ryza 3. So yes...I do recommend Ryza 3 DX. Overall I'd recommend the whole trilogy if you haven't played it yet. If you have...then there really isn't a big reason to pick this up over the originals unless you can get them on a REALLY good sale. And so...the wait begins for the next entry in the Atelier series. Which luckily...won't be too much longer!
在Switch OLED上完成了Ryza 2,转到到Steam这里玩Ryza 3的DX版真的超爽。 DX版真的很优,小可惜是我误以为赛莉会真正意义的进入故事线。
재밌긴 해.

Pretty solid conclusion to the series. Story and soundtrack in line with the rest of the series, a larger world to explore and a larger party. Also QOL improvements such as a faster way to grind. Didn't really like the keys-related mechanics, but they do add another layer to the gameplay that more seasoned players may enjoy better. I also noted that there were a couple of instances where I had to grind a little, but that may be because I tend to plow through the main quest. If you've liked the first two games definitely give this one a go too, if anything to see how the story ends.
