About
Asteroid Odyssey is an incremental space survival game where you (and Ben, the space tennis ball) build and defend your ship against endless waves of various celestial bodies.
Build Your Ship
Use ingots to construct new parts around your core. Build weapons like Machine Guns, Gatling Guns, Flamethrowers, and Rocket Launchers to blast incoming threats. Add Armor to protect vulnerable spots, Repair Units to heal damage, and Batteries to boost adjacent weapons. Every part connects to your core in a grid layout, so plan your ship design carefully.
Defend Your Core
Your ship's core is under attack. Asteroids and planets of all sizes are heading your way, and if your core is destroyed, it's game over. Research and expand your ship with defenses, weaponry and other useful parts to survive.

Research and Unlock
Start with basic parts and unlock advanced technology through research. Spend ingots to discover new ship components and upgrade your stats, such as mouse hover damage and attack speed. Parts get more expensive each time you build them, so be thoughtful.

Make your journey more efficient and destructive with boosters
Unlock boosters so that you may get them from the crates during the run in order to increase your fire rates, efficiency of refineries, or destroy everything in your vicinity.

Can you help Ben and build the ultimate ship?

It was a fun time playing this game! I've experienced very repetitive and chilling gameplay! Kudos to developers for making this project, it's perfect for watching videos on youtube, while playing this game!
A nice little time-sink of a game. It is visually appealing, and I especially enjoyed the music, it fits the vibe really well. It is, however, on the easier side, and the music starts to wear thin after a while. There’s basically just one track that loops throughout the whole game, which gets repetitive.
The balance started out kinda bad but the developer has been updating and adjusting things based on feedback and has been improved greatly since launch.
They rebalanced the game to make it harder. Now its too hard and you are relying on enough boxes to spawn to make it through the start. Game balance needs more work, until then its just frustrating.

Прикольный залипательный рогалик, советую попробовать
I've managed to complete the game on all 3 difficulties but I am yet to see any boosters available, it has given me the steam achievement for collecting all the boosters though? I still really like the game though :)
Based on a complete game before 1.1, but with difficulty update: The game itself works great and the mechanics are fun. Everything works. Is it worth 4-5 Euro? That depends on what you expect. At the moment i would compare it to a fidget spinner. Interesting at first, you explore the mechanics. Then you know what you are doing and get some satisfaction, beat it and put it away. You had your fun. For me that was enough for the current state. 2-3 attempts, then one run to the end. Quick and easy. But the game has really solid bones and with more flesh it could be a real banger. Some ideas: - Balancing. if you survived the first quarter, you have unlocked the whole tech tree. - Balancing. you will quickly get so strong, everything gets killed beyond the right screen border - Lack of variation. a miniboss every few levels and some end boss would be great as a start. - If you can die from a boss, there needs to be some kind of checkpoint system - make the ship smaller, make it maneuverable, send invulnerable asteroids. Flappy birds in space ;-) - Offer some kind of cheesy story. There needs to be some kind of purpose. - make it 2d ... at the moment it is a kind of 1d side scroller. let us explore 2d asteroid fields And so on. I think, the game has great potential without to much work. Look at the Spacerun games for inspiration and sources of frustration.
I like the game concept. I like the graphics, its neat. I would like more to give a neutral review because you will only like the game for 1-2h if you like the genre. In the end you think ... where is the 2x 4x or even 8x button because its just boring the good thing is, at the end its like a idler game. You do like 20 min something else and wait for resources to fill up to build stuff. The challanges do only move the point when this happens. Like default after like stage 3 its easy and after stage 10 its idle. In the hardcore challanges its just like +3 stages. I would say, if you get it for like $2 its okay. But 5 is meh. Content is too weak. Basically you explore the game once and close it forever, a bit sad but reallity i would say. Balance and Content, that is all what the game need to turn into a better game i would say.
