Cozy Island Idle

Not to be a bummer, but I don't get it. I play a ton of idle games, but there's nothing to do here. There is a slight gacha experience in the catching of fish, but there's way too little to buy and the cost of everything is way too close to equal good game balance. I'm really not sure where the positive reviews are coming from. This isn't relaxing. It's something to walk away from. It's not something to play.

I love idle games, but this one just isn't doing it for me. The atmosphere is cozy and cute, and I like the idea. The problem is that the overall loop is really minimal and bland. You click the chair to start fishing, watch your inventory and sell the lowest earners, and do nothing else. There are a handful of upgrades and tons of cosmetics, but otherwise there's little here to keep you hooked (pun intended). There are also a lot of little UI glitches, from clicks not registering to hover effects flickering, that make things unpleasant to use. I'd love to see a more engaging loop, whether it's the addition of more upgrades or some kind of "clicking" you can do to speed things up. Also, the game desperately needs more music variety, especially when you're at the island view. I think there's promise here, but right now this one is a pass for me.

Game is completely broken for me. Reported the bug, no response even though the dev used to respond to bug reports within a day or two following release. EDIT: The dev responded to this review stating that the bug had been fixed in the latest version. Downloaded, wiped my data, started a new game. Now there is a game-breaking bug in the first 5 minutes. I am done with this game and am checking the box to ignore this game developer.

Not sure about the game. Buts rubbish for now . And bots commenting to get more positive posts lol. Just make normal game not a bare bones and sell ...

Ein kleines Animal Crossing gefühl xD Man hat einen Katalog über verschiedene Fische - verschiedener Qualitäten und man startet mit einer Angel auf Niveu 1. Nach und nach kommen mehr Fische zusammen (durch automaisches Angeln) und durch deren Verkauf kommt man an Geld was zb für bessere Angeln ausgegeben werden kann. Je besser die Angel desto besser die Fische ~ Wollt ihr aber Tier 1 Fische dann braucht ihr die LowLevel Angel ~ Ich hatte mein Spaß hier :D + Erfolge

Not a lot of gameplay at this point. What's there mostly amounts to every few minutes checking your inventory, selling off cheap fish and trash items to make space for more and send your character off to fish again. Treasure chests are useless after an hour or so. You very quickly get all upgrades for regular money and from that point it's just waiting to fish up enough diamonds for all other upgrades, with the chances of getting diamonds from fishing only increasing at a very slow and small rate. For 3 bucks it's just barely fine enough to recommend if you like idle games.

Cute idle game. I've had it going nearly 4 hrs so far today and check in here and there to clear inventory/upgrade while doing my chores. This is not one of those games labeled idle but you have to click constantly (clicker). I've already gotten my monies worth. Could use a few QoL touch ups here and there but I'm happy with it and it's early access after all.

Fullscreen option doesn't work, maximised windows revert to small window constantly, there are a lot of flashing screens, clicking on things intuitively takes you back to the front page - just a very user-unfriendly game. Which is sad, because I did love the premise and really tried to enjoy it!

Very cozy and cute. Makes me want to have a real aquarium!
