**Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood takes everything that made AC II great and makes it even better.** Ezio feels more experienced, more dangerous, and more confident, and Rome is an amazing setting to explore. Rebuilding the city, taking down Borgia towers, recruiting assassins, and eventually being able to call your Brotherhood into fights makes you genuinely feel like the leader of an assassin network. The combat is smoother, the missions have more variety, and the story keeps moving without wasting too much time. Watching Ezio grow from a lone assassin into a true Mentor is easily one of the best parts of the game. It’s not perfect. Some missions can be frustrating, the controls occasionally fight against you, and a few objectives feel unnecessarily restrictive. But none of that stopped me from enjoying it. **Brotherhood is one of the strongest games in the Ezio trilogy and one of my favorite classic Assassin’s Creed games.** Rome, Ezio, the Brotherhood system — everything just comes together perfectly. **Requiescat in pace.**

A direct continuition of AC2 and Ezio's story. I highly recommend playing 2 first as you'll be lost otherwise. Story is very well rounded. Rome is lovely to ride around on horseback but as a lot of it is empty field or fields with a few ruins, it doesn't have as much parkour potential that AC2 cities did. Has a lot of well designed side content. This is the game that began the mindless killstreak combat system that lasted with the series till rogue. The animations are great but the combat is quite mindless.
