Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Love ubisoft a jejich kurveni her.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

interesting persona changes, funny bugs; much recommend!

This is a favorite of all the games I own. It's simple, easy enough to finish and keeps you entertained all the way through. The visual update is very noticeable and appreciated. Liberation HD is short, but a welcome addition as well. Although I find it less fun than the AC3, Liberation is a great way to spend a day or two as well.
The fact that this game is locked to 60 fps is downright inhumane. I love ACIII, but this one, aint it.
A largely fun romp through the American Revolution with a narrative that usually makes sense, a combat system that is more interesting than its predecessors, and isn't a total chore to 100% complete. Neither Liberation nor the DLC are really worth playing, but there is still some enjoyment to be had there. 7.1/10. --- This entry into the series takes you to the American Revolutionary War, featuring all the characters you'd expect to be there. You (eventually) play as a Native American, Connor, on a path of revenge helped along by what little remains of the Assassins in the New World. The overall pacing of the story makes a lot of sense, and the characterizations of various characters fitting into the Assassin-Templar War are sensible. The involvement of Connor at various major points of the war (even as essentially a field commander at very particular points) are certainly hamfisted, but it makes for a better story, to be sure. Connor's story is tragic, both in the literal narrative of the story but also from a meta perspective. Being constrained by history is both a blessing and a curse for Ubisoft here; we, in the current day, all know that Connor will ultimately fail to save his people from being attacked and forcibly moved westwards. To its credit, the game doesn't try and suggest otherwise. However, I think Connor ultimately fails to be all that much of an engaging character. I'm unsure if it was an error of the scriptwriters or the voice actor, but Connor is strangely stilted and doesn't seem to have much of a personality. Taking a step away from the suave Ezio of the previous games was a great move, but unfortunately, in my eyes, Connor doesn't seem like he's on a bitter trail of vengeance against those who have wronged him - most of the time, he sounds like he's an awkward and emotionless 18 year old who occasionally sounds like he's a little pissed. The world is split into three sections: Boston, New York, and the Frontier between them, which consists of a mixture of towns, villages, and quite a lot of forests and streams. I quite like the Frontier, even if it can be a little tedious to navigate. AC3 allows you to climb on and between trees for significant distances, which is a fairly polished and satisfying system. Boston and New York look and feel pretty similar to each other, but the built environments are great fun to traverse, even if we don't have the parachutes and hookblade of the previous games. This game's combat system is similar to the others in the series. In stealth, you assassinate from below, behind, or above with a hidden blade or a ranged weapon - a silent but less powerful bow, a loud but stronger gun, or a poison projectile which is both silent and can kill anything but takes a little while to take effect. Once detected by enemies, they almost always fight you one at a time, and you essentially just press the counterattack button in a generous window, with different enemies requiring different counterattacks. The choreography of fighting is really good. Where AC3 stumbles is that being stealthy is weirdly difficult compared to previous entries. Certain actions seem to make much more noise than usual, and you really have to be assassinating from hiding spots in particular to be sure that you won't be detected. However, the other big problem is that there's just a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemies, and so there are many areas that you simply cannot deal with in a stealthy manner. There is also a hunting/animal fighting system. This is... tolerable, and you don't have to do much of it. AC4 does this much better while also better integrating it. There's also ship combat, which is surprisingly really, really good. It's no wonder AC4 has so much of it, they really figured out the fundamentals here and polished it up only a little bit for the next game. In this game, there's a good few missions involving naval combat, but it's very obviously a side activity and very little is required. There's also a rather underbaked and underwhelming crafting system for generating money. It is, at least, pretty good at its role: previous games struggled with implementing a satisfying economic cycle, whereas it's much easier to build a fortune here. I went for 100% completion, and found it generally enjoyable. Like many things in life, the last ~10% was the most tedious part, but I was done within 60 hours, and so long as you're doing multiple grinds at once, I felt pretty engaged and didn't really need to AFK to wait on things to process/collect. There are a few main missions with abnormally difficult completion requirements, but the ability to restart from a checkpoint is a godsend for that. --- The DLC is a weird alternative history/dream/vision thing where George Washington finds an ancient artifact that corrupts him into a king and you get animal spirit powers. It's... pretty bad, to be honest, though it only takes about 12 hours to 100%, so at least it doesn't overstay its welcome. The animal powers are genuinely pretty fun to use, but the 100% completion requirements are sometimes so difficult as to seem untested, there were noticeably more bugs, and much of the time is spent in combat with large groups of guards because EVERYBODY is pissed off at you, ALL the time, leaving very little room for stealth outside of a few missions. I also just dislike the whole framing of the situation and the pacing, to be honest. I wouldn't play it unless you really want those Steam achievements. Ditto for Liberation, which I didn't even play this time around (I did several years ago on Xbox and it was just really not very good at all, even for a spinoff).
