About
Trombone Champ is the world's first trombone-based rhythm music game. Unlike most music games, you can freely play any note at any time. You're not just following along with the music, you're actually playing the music!
Toot your way through over 60 tracks. The better you play, the more toots you earn!
Collect all 50 Tromboner Cards!
Baboons on nearly every screen!
Improvise and play whatever you want in Freeplay Mode!
Uncover the secrets of the Trombiverse and become the True Trombone Champ!
Absolutely zero microtransactions!
Appropriate for all ages!
Trombone Champ features over 60 tracks, which include anthems, marches, classical pieces, electronica, folk classics, and more. The game also includes tracks from exciting guest artists. Each track has a unique animated background that moves with the music!
Use the "Toots" you earn from playing songs to purchase sacks of Tromboner Cards. These cards can be used to unlock new tromboners, new trombone colors, and other mysteries!
Using a mouse, move your arm forward and back (as if you were holding a trombone slide), and the pitch of the note will slide up and down to match! Click or use the keyboard to blow! The sounds your trombone makes are completely controlled by you. The closer you are to the music track, the more points you will earn, but you have the freedom to play anything you want at any time!
Nearly every screen in the game, beginning with the main menu, features one or more baboons. You won't believe how many baboons there are in this game! As you discover the secrets of the Trombiverse, their purpose may become clear... but only a true Trombone Champ will uncover their full meaning.

My friends and I have yet to stop cracking up about this game. Please help. We can't stop laughing
a very normal game about a trombone player. that's it. nothing else happens in this game. there are no comedic elements what. so. ever.
Very unique & strange game, one of the only comedy music rhythm games I can think of. All the music is trombone-focused and the game plays up how weird that sounds. Lots of classical music that's presumably in public domain, but some original music too, plus some of the featured tracks have been 'messed with' in strange ways that can be fun, kind of like a remix. The sense of humour is a mixed bag. I like the humorous animated backdrops for the songs, those are often great and pretty funny like showing a slow zoom into an english breakfast at the end of the english national anthem. Loading screen tips can be funny as can some of the collectable card descriptions. But cards disenchanting into turds and fart noises that you use to craft missing cards/do some story stuff didn't land for me. Overall it's a short experience, the 'hidden' story is pretty simple to find and progress and once you're done with it, there's just some grinding to do (that guides can make a lot simpler) to get gold versions of all cards. Only really a game for people with weird tastes, but I like how unique it is and I liked the music videos & some of the music even if it's so trombone-y.
Toot.
One of the most enjoyable rhythm games I've ever played. Made me appreciate baboons
Just finished and i truly feel blessed by the baboons

Having finally ascended to the title of Trombone Champ of Legend, I paid my deepest respects to TRAZOM by aggressively blasting Taps on Turbo Mode. After handling an ungodly amount of Toots and Turds just to gild all my Trombiner cards, my journey is complete. 10/10 would toot again.
