Overall a great remake of the game I loved over a decade ago now. It was a joy to play but unfortunetly I was unable to finish the prologue due to a game breaking bug, I ended up skipping to finish the main story without my last officer and a number of other quests needed to 100 percent the game due to this bug. By far my largest grip with this game isn't the game itself but the companies idiot thinking when it comes to these 'battle passes' in the 'animus'. You're time gated from completing them, IN A SINGLE PLAYER GAME FFS! There are three of these for this game alone and I wasn't able to finish the first one before beating the game. Let me tell you how much I give a **** to come back and try to clear them with no content to play after completing the game. Just the dumbest of **** heads alive to come up with that thinking. 9/10 great game by passionate devs. 1/10 IP owned by morons in suits.

removing temporary weapon pickups like rifles was a distinctly awful choice and should be reconsidered greatly, every other thing about the remake is okay bar some technical stuff like bad animations, cloak glitches on benches, really dated RTX implements. the graphics are pretty nice and because of this cutscenes have more "weight," map tweaks were good- the game's story is a bit more cohesive, the animus stuff is way better integrated over the original game, they didn't remove the legendary soundtrack, and music still has bugs with cutscene elements like in the original. firing of developers who worked on this project on launch day, more than deluxe game price in DLC on launch is not okay.
the start of edward's hero's journey is literally about not settling for mediocre treatment and standards,
anybody telling you to just "not buy the dlc" are devoid of critical thinking skills. for a remade AAA game by the company behind R6, The Division, or whom claimed to make the first AAAA game- it's subpar and should make you feel insulted that the standard for a AAA game today has not changed beyond wow factor, so most of us are left saying "it's not a flaming bag of feces" as we are essentially trained to look for silver linings 8-9/10 game with 9/10 graphics 0/10 company 0/10 game ownership
Lots of bugs, performance issues, stutters, cut corners, dlc policy, in-game store, in-game ads + ubisoft
Буквально лучшая часть серии!
Pirate Simulator
:)
Worthy remake (and upgrade!) of the 2013 masterpiece.
