No words can discribe this game, so much detail. Just WOW! One of the best if not the best remake I have ever played! Good fkn job Ubisoft good fkn job, for now, I have my eyes on you 8) don't fck it up!
Now this is how a remake is done right! Cheers mate! 10/10 in every aspect!
Incredible remake that brings me back to playing this game as a kid, Edward Kenway's journey is very interesting and feels rewarding. Resynced adds many quests that play well enough, however they do suffer from being made without mocap. One particular optional mission was horribly written and makes very little sense where it happens in the story. It ends up feeling like a total regression of Edwards character, and features some baffling moments that honestly pissed me off. Naval combat is very good! though I never fought the legendary ships when I was younger, I hear they were much slower. I don't understand how a Man-o-War is faster than the Jackdaw, but they obviously wanted to make the fights an actual challenge. Basic combat is boring even on hard, takedown chaining is fun but is ultimately very shallow, especially so since you can only fight with double swords. Hidden blades are only used for takedowns, a shame. While still being a good game, resynced is very much a ubisoft game. Small bugs here and there, nothing that ever ruined my experience but enough to never let me forget that I'm playing a ubisoft title. Very well performing! I believe i was running high to max settings and stayed comfortably around 120-144 easily. I enjoyed my time! I doubt I will come back to finish every achievement. Overall, I believe its a 8/10.
Jogo baum, Confia!
very nicee yes, king of the castle
cool
OG is like an 8/10 this is a 6/10 Wait for a sale (imo atleast a 40% off) Remakes are preheated food so unless it is that great of a recaptured experience, are never worth the full price. This is not worth the full price but still a recommend (because steam doesn't allow mixed reviews) Combat is redone to be more like recent ACs but without too much RPG stats on the gear themselves and it feels great to fight enemies but disarming and using muskets or other enemies' weapons are no longer doable. unarmed combat is here but only for bar fights and hidden blade combat is non-existent, I don't really care about these two though because I never really used them in the OG or even Rouge my biggest complaint really is that disarming is not here. Combat imo is an improvement overall but needs a bit more to truly shine. Stealth is fine but it feels like social stealth is like no longer the spotlight? Because of the crouch mechanic implemented I find that I mostly crouch and stalk in tall grasses instead of hiding in plain sight through crowds. This feels a bit insane because to me AC's uniqueness is its blend of traditional and social stealth and the fact that social stealth feels left out kinda kills the soul for this game for me. Stealth is a mixed bag of good ideas and missed marks for me. Ship combat and exploration is vastly superior here. The moods and vibes a storm, rough waves, or tornados can invoke are powerful. Naval combat is also good uses the improvements of Rogue and just stays the course so yeah no complaints there. Story. I'm mixed here because yeah its good its Black Flag, but the new stuff they added (that doesn't contribute to the main story) feels weaker in comparison. some other things: *Trailing missions now instead of being tedious are braindead, you can't fail them unless you die it sucks here just with a different type of being doodoo. *Ship management is WEAK in the past you can send your fleet to other continents and watching them battle felt nice. There was meaningful progression in this minigame in the OG and now it feels like just another chore here. *Some cutscenes look WAY OFF compared to the original, it may look more realistic or beautiful but misses the artistic vision or even the emotions the scene is trying to convey (example: Kidd's death in the OG vs. Resynced) *Parkour is weird, it looks good but it feels so uncontrollable and random unlike the older games. This is Black Flag thankfully, where parkour is not really the main draw but if they use this system on say AC:I or II remake, I'm not buying it. Has the Aesthetics of Unity's animations but without the depth. *Oh and also the microtransactions are just laughably bad-looking cosmetics and there's a battle-pass in a singleplayer experience.
