Filled me with such an insane amount of nostalgia. Amazing remake

Beautiful, but shallow and completely unimmersive The graphics look great, and the combat is visually impressive. Unfortunately, fighting enemies that behave like training dummies gets boring very quickly. The enemy AI is incredibly stupid, even on the highest difficulty. You can often defeat an entire group simply by spamming attacks, which completely destroys any sense of immersion or challenge. The loot system is also extremely repetitive. Most of the time, you either find money or items that are immediately converted into money. There is very little variety in weapons and armor compared to Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The shops barely offer any interesting weapons, and clothing does not improve your stats - it is purely cosmetic. As a result, exploring and collecting loot rarely feels rewarding. My biggest disappointment is the lack of a convincing pirate fantasy. At least during the first ten hours, the game barely showed the robberies, drinking, violence, lawlessness, and general brutality that I associate with pirate life. I never truly felt like a pirate, and the immersion in that aspect was practically nonexistent. I never played the original Black Flag, so I cannot compare the remake to it. However, as a new player, Resynced was a major disappointment. Assassin’s Creed Shadows was better in almost every way: graphics, environments, combat, loot variety, progression, and overall atmosphere. Black Flag Resynced may look beautiful, but underneath the visuals, it feels shallow, repetitive, and outdated.
