horrible game.. very hard and stupid clunky mechanics.. cant even get money back as it was present.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I like the game and I see the potential, and like other reviewers, have been waiting for something exactly like this to play. However, there is some serious issues that drag down the experience. The first main one is that your villagers can not help themselves. They'll complain of being hungry and thirsty with bucketloads of water and food available. I don't know how to lead them to what they want. If that is possible, the game doesn't explain it well. In my opinion, the little tutorial blue glowing things ended WAY too soon. I understand taking a 'figure it out yourself' approach, but this game is too unpolished for that kind of approach. Secondly, I don't know if it's a glitch or what's happening, but I am constantly bombarded with 'Villager can't find RESOURCE, consider adding another RESOURCE marker'. This happens multiple times, every 15 minutes and sometimes it happens to multiple villagers at once. This causes multiple villagers to start following you around obsessively, being unable to be dismissed because I don't care right now, and it's just obnoxious having to be taken out of a flow state to put another resource marker down somewhere. On that same note, there seems to be a bug that the game itself asks you to put down a 'food gathering marker' or a 'wood gathering marker', but apparently these aren't a thing anymore. Apparently, it's now a generic catch all resource marker that's used for everything, and I only found this out because of Google's AI. Again, this process of laying down a resource marker which is taking up a significant amount of the mechanics is not explained once in the tutorial. If resources do respawn it does not happen fast enough, or frequently enough. I don't even understand why a 'resource marker' system needs to exist, considering it's been turned into a catch-all marker. So every 15 minutes I have to stop everything I'm doing to go put another marker down, to wait 15 more minutes to do it again. In my opinion, do away with the markers and just let the villagers gather what they need, wherever they need it. Ultimately, this game has serious potential and I do like it but the more I play, the more I find myself annoyed by how helpless the villagers are. If the game took out manually needing to add resource markers, and made the AI more self sufficient, this is a gold mine of a game.

ASKA is a great mix of Viking survival, colony building, and villager management. Building a village from nothing and watching it come alive feels really rewarding. The game still has Early Access rough edges, but the foundation is strong and updates keep improving it. I’d love to see deeper official mod support because ASKA has huge potential for community-made buildings, UI tools, villager roles, and quality-of-life mods. Highly recommended.
I've tried to stay away from early access games but this one was irresistible. I like that you have to actually try to get things going. You work and it pays off. Definitely a fun game so far in my first play through. So much more to discover!
