Ashley Clark: The Secrets of the Ancient Temple

Well, I thought the first game was meh, and this one drops even below that one. Basically the same review as I gave to the other Ashley Clark game, only I enjoyed this one even less. The other game: https://steamcommunity.com/id/IFIYGD/recommended/882640/ This one has a even shallower and more rushed story, that starts as one thing, and veers off into a completely bizarre spider-cult occultist thing. Really feels rushed and out of focus. Good variety of puzzles, though the hidden object scenes still have the same issues as the last game, and the puzzles are even simpler, with many being a reskin of commonly used puzzles. They were not enjoyable- once again too easy or too drawn out and time consuming for their own good. The first game I said "maybe on a really deep discount", but this one- unless you are hopelessly addicted to hidden object games and enjoy wasting your time on bad ones- avoid it. It just wasn't a good game. The only thing it has going for it is achievements, which are pretty much impossible to not get all of. But like the first game, this game is not likely to ever leave "Profile Features Limited" status, so they do not add to you cheevo count on your profile or your perfect game count.

I'd say skip this one. There's so many HoG's out there and this just doesn't stand up. The puzzles are all either stupidly simple or just extremely tedious. Some are time based so if you're not fast with your mouse you won't get it without doing something dumb like turning the game into a window and clicking on the desktop outside the window which pauses the game. The story is lackluster. The music is pretty good. The animations are terrible. Lastly, the game is old so it doesn't fit 16:9 screens. You'll get black bars on the sides. Not something I'd normally complain about, but piled up on top of everything else - there's just better games.

Dans la famille N-Tri Studio, je voudrais le jeu bâclé. Ashley Clark : the secret of the ancient temple : - une intrigue sans queue ni tête qui nous balance des rebondissements genre grosse bêbête sortie de nulle part, - des personnages creux dont on nous dit tellement peu qu'au final je ne sais même pas si j'ai aidé un gentil contre un méchant ou juste participé à un règlement de compte entre frappadingues, - des objets actifs débloqué on ne sait trop quand ni pourquoi, parfois improbablement cachés là où personne ne songerait à les mettre (avec en prime souvent leurs petits frères passifs bien visibles sur le chemin), - d'où des déplacements répétés peu intuitifs alors qu'il y a en réalité peu de lieux accessibles à un instant donné. Reste les SOC un peu fourre-tout mais globalement sympas de par de petites manipulations et quelques mini-jeux corrects dans un panel très disparate, certains sont trop évidents et d'autres ont une difficulté artificiellement gonflée plus décourageante qu'intellectuellement satisfaisante. Déçu.

[h1]Positive Aspects[/h1] The positive aspects of this game are: * The hint system allows hints to appear after either completing a task or enough time has passed. [h1]Negative Aspects[/h1] The negative aspects are: * Too many hidden objects. * Mouse control needed is too stressful for a senior citizen like me. I was having great difficulty in positioning the mouse in order to find the hidden objects. * There is no obvious logic to solutions to puzzles. * Skills gained in solving one puzzle cannot be used to solve others.

A good hidden object game with many hidden object scenes and mini-games.

This is one of the worst hidden object/casual adventure games ever made. There's no story arch, the mini games are awful and repetitive (plus a good amount of them just involves guessing), the game randomly hangs for 10 to 15 seconds. The locations are random and the objectives are cryptic. Not even on a sale I would recommend this 'game'.

Bueno. La historia y el juego son bastante simplones en general, hay algunas EOO y poco más, PERO, los puzzles, aunque hay 2 ó 3 súper sencillos y otros son simplemente de memoria retentiva, la mayoría son bastante complicados y pasas mucho rato para resolverlos. Sólo por eso, no te aburres, es un desafío poder resolverlos. Algunos son desesperantes. Poco más que decir, está entretenido por la resolución de los puzzles.

A typical game where you need to look for items, by the way one of my favorite genres, there’s a nice atmosphere and the story itself, I’m not talking about music, I definitely recommend

[h1]Tak to jo, ve slevě to můžu doporučit.[/h1] Kupoval jsem ve slevě za 2,45€ a byla to dobrá koupě. Hra vypadá hezky a hraje se příjemně, některé hlavolamy jsou opravdu ořechy. Hru jsem dohrál za 6 hodin, což se zdá býti dost, ale dost času zabralo právě louskání těch ořechů. Bavil jsem se, achievementy 100% a profi čeština jako třešnička na dortu k tomu.
