Aseprite

Very easy to use and quite fun to play with!

Aseprite as a whole is a great software for a professional or even a beginner artist. I had started using it as a small hobby to learn pixel art and it was very easy to learn and use. There are plenty of tutorials on how to use it and you can really go all out on the program. You can even animate! And yes I am fully aware that you can technically find a way to get it for free online but I can say in confidence it is 100% worth just buying it yourself and not deal with the risk of a virus. Most art softwares these days are sadly prescription based in order for you to use them, So this one time payment seems unsubstantial in terms of wasting money. Overall I fully recommend the software, there are zero micro transactions included so no need to worry about spending more than necessary.
