Arthur's Quest: Between the Big Sword and the Bara Spirits

ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЁН, ЗНАЧИТ, ВООРУЖЁН Я ПРЕДУПРЕДИЛ? ВЫ ВООРУЖЕНЫ! [/b] Вот и вышла очередная jRPG-шка от Male Doll через 3 года и 1 день после того, как вышла предыдущая. Стоило ли ожидание времени? Да, ведь помимо ролевушек у «Мужика-куклы» выходило много других проектов и, тем более, качество новой игры стало намного лучше! Сюжет как был, так и остался незамысловатым, но вот рисовка… Она стала куда круче! Да, в некоторые моменты можно было бы и добавить каких-то деталей, но зато художник научился круто рисовать члены, а это уже успех! Честно говоря, если сравнить с тем, что было лет 5 назад, то невооружённым взглядом будет виден лютейший прогресс. Вплетение крутецких Фарамонда и Хотоса не было пятым колесом у телеги, а выглядело очень даже логично: их одежду главному герою отдавали или чтобы скрыться от недругов, или чтобы отблагодарить за всё хорошее и помочь в «очистке» подземелья в храме. Прежние обладатели одежд могли связываться с тем, кто их надевал, то есть с Артуром, но временами в весьма «дружественно-мужицкой» обстановке. Если честно, то лично я бы посоветовал разработчику сконцентрироваться на подобного рода играх, потому что они хорошо получаются. Да, эксперименты не повредят, но уже несколько игр стали провалом и я говорю сейчас про клона «Vampire Survivors» и визуальные новеллы. Хотя, «Freezer Pops» была хороша… Наверно, всё-таки, для таких как я и произошло недавнее разделение студии на: - «Male Doll Origins» - jRPG-игры; - «Male Doll Stories» - визуальные новеллы; - «Male Doll Adventures» - игры различных жанров, к которым не относятся первые две группы. Ну, это удобно! Вообще, у «кукло-мужицких» игр такая атмосфера приятная… Да, всё иногда сделано наивно и слегка топорно, но это так мило и с душой, что я аж не могу! Разработчики хотят поделиться своими мыслями, рассказами, всяческими историями и помещают это в игру… Я их в этом поддерживаю, это в наше время многого стоит. [i]Остался непонятный момент с порнушными сценами с Хотосом и Фарамондом: они и должны открываться самостоятельно в коллекционной комнате или же они должны открываться по сюжету? Просто по сюжету никаких вставок не было, а это как-то странно…[/i]

🎮 Gameplay & Genre This is a retro pixel-style JRPG with light dating sim elements. You play Arthur, a redheaded prince going undercover in a rival kingdom. Combat is turn-based and simple, though it spikes in difficulty near the end. There’s also a stealth mechanic—avoid fights by dodging line-of-sight if you’re feeling nonconfrontational. The game is short, clocking in at around 5 hours to full completion, but it packs in solid variety for its length. 🔥 M/M Content The real hook here is the two Bara Spirits who grant Arthur magical powers via outfits. As you level up their associated skills, you unlock increasingly steamy CGs and romantic scenes. Arthur can date either—or both. The sexy art is full-quality, big-boy bara goodness. No femmeboys or fluff here. Just meat, magic, and mischief. 🎨 Visuals & Style The overworld and combat visuals are pixelated in classic RPG Maker style, but the CGs are fully rendered and the true visual reward. Arthur himself is a standout (especially if you're into redheads), and the Bara Spirits are hot and distinct. The UI is simple but functional. 🗣️ Tone & Writing The writing is campy, cheeky, and doesn’t take itself too seriously—which suits the game well. The story is thin but coherent, with enough worldbuilding to justify the action and romance. It’s self-aware and fun, with a few solid lines that land. 👍 Best Thing Arthur himself. Seriously—hot, competent, and charming. Also, the skill-based progression that ties sexy scenes to gameplay adds a nice touch of incentive. 👎 Worst Thing Way too short. It ends just as it’s getting good. There’s a lot of potential here that never fully blooms. ⭐ Final Verdict Arthur’s Quest is one of Male Doll’s strongest titles: sexy, fast-paced, and just challenging enough to feel satisfying. It won’t win awards for length or narrative depth, but it doesn’t need to. It knows what it is—and it delivers. A fun, flirty RPG romp for lovers of bara bodies and campy fantasy. This was a pretty fun RPG NSFW Game. Finished it in the day ( around 6 Hours total completion). The characters enjoyable and the level progression was pretty fair. If you into mature men ( 40 years olds ) this game is a good play. The main character is a cutie and 3 armor classes are nicely drawn. It is in the chibi style but I don't think that's bad since when the MC talks its his full form. The fighting system is turn based and the enemies are scaled to where your at in the story so no overpowered enemies in the first areas. Also IT HAS AUTOSAVE!!! If you wanted a nice sexy game to enjoy your day to, I'd say give it a try! Not alot of gay game that's EXCLUSIVELY gay on steam so give it a go!

It's was mediocre at best. The pro art style music turn-based battle system male sex scenes the con Very short game I wish you had more male in the game so they can join the main character so we can see male sex scenes. And I would like to see is more clothing system too.

Very fun, reminds me of the original god of thunder game. Love the sex positivity and imagination and exciting action scenes

I had a very good time playing this. The gameplay was fun and the story was interesting. The art was also great!

Do not recommend. Waste of time, trying to play and it simply just randomly freezes. This happens in many of the Bara games. You have to save after EVERY encounter and then reload from save. It's a ridiculous waste of time for mediocre game play and poor translation.
