Abandon ware
So ein durcheinander von spiel was mich gleich dazu bewegt hat das Game zurück zu geben
Good game with a good amount of potential. Could use some changes in the controls department, but good otherwise.
ive had this game for like 2/3 years now kinda forgot about it tbh but as of NOV 2ND 2023 no word from the dev. the discord is silent and not a sprinkle of a hotfix or content update. last update was JUNE 6TH 2022. this game is abandoned and a scam do not spend 20 dollars on this if it was 5 i wouldnt care but to ask 20 dollars for this sh*t still is insane. DO NOT BUY IT.
Good concept but dead game
please come back, dev!
Well, you command a tank in North Africa, you issue orders as the commander with a little radio that has dials you twist and buttons to press so as to give orders to your crew. You can go as a driver and manually steer the tank around, you can sit as the bow gunner and fire the machinegun. You can operate the gun but it's a little jank since you'll constantly lose control if your hands move away from the elevation and rotation wheels, as well as use the co-axial machinegun and physically move your head around to aim through the finicky gunner sight that has little to no range finding features. You can also just sit in the loader's seat and physically push shells into the breach, but the dev has planned on removing this feature (and other interactive features) because the physics keep breaking and not working as intended. For side content, you can operate a PaK-40 anti-tank gun that functions largely the same as the tank's gun, the main differences being you're just one crew and have to do the aiming and loading and spotting all by yourself instead of having some semi-autonomous crewmen work with you. For $20 USD it's investing in there being more stuff later on with the fun gimmick of being in VR and controlling a tank. I bought and played this game nearly 3+ years ago and there hasn't been so much as a whisper of news during that time. There's been talk of a Discord server where allegedly the dev has commented that they can no longer work on it due to not having the funds or time to work on it, but not a single word of these alleged conversations have been made available on Steam's discussion board, nor on the newsfeed. It's an over-priced product with merely kind of okay content that has long since been abandoned and yet still allowed to remain for sale. It only took me so long to write this review because I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting for a news update, only to forget about the game and eventually uninstall it, and longer still just wait until finally marking the game as Hidden so it declutters the library, and THEN wondering if there's other VR games that I might like for Next Fest that have demos and remembering this old product and searching it up. 3+ years, and no updates, an abandoned game with a dev taking the money and running, leaving behind an incomplete product that is STILL allowed to be sold. Just like Armored Battle Crew.
