Areia: Pathway to Dawn

Nice relaxing game with some simple and fun puzzles. Recommended for people who enjoy games like Flower, Journey, Abzu, etc.

Gizemli bir atmosferin içerisinde başlangıcınızı yapabileceğiniz bu oyunda; oyun karakterinizle birlikte sakin ve dinlendirici bir yolculuğa adım atabilirsiniz. İçerik olarak bol aksiyon, kavga, savaş vb. unsurlar bekleyen oyunculara bu oyun çok sade gelebilir. Oynanış aşamasına geçtiğinizde ise elinize kahvenizi veya çayınızı alıp, rahatlatıcı oyun ortamında sakinlik dolu keşiflerin keyfini çıkarmaya çalışabilirsiniz.

Areia é um game feito por uma desenvolvedora totalmente brasileira e apesar de ter recebido claramente influência de Journey ainda sim Areia possui identidade própria. A história é interpretativa e deve ter continuação. Os comandos são intuitivos e bem responsivos; os gráficos / arte do game são muito bonitos. O level design é muito bem feito e as músicas são belíssimas. Areia não deixa a desejar em nada a games do mesmo estilo e de desenvolvedoras do exterior, o que faz com que a equipe da Gilp Studio esteja de parabéns. I'm not a good on making reviews, so I will just share my experience with the game. The sound tracks are really good, makes you feel immersed on the universe and gives a good vibe. The beginning is a little bit too long and the puzzles are simple and in the same style (would be awesome to have different types of puzzles in the next episodes). If you enjoyed the game "Journey", high chances of you enjoying this one. Generally speaking I loved the game and was totally worth the money! Highly recommended!

Ich bin noch unschlüssig was ich über Areia denken soll. Ich hatte einige Glitches (u.a. bin ich öfter durch die Map gefallen) und flackernde Reflektionen der Oberflächen. Der Charakter lief zudem seltsam über den Sand. Es sah so aus, als ob die Füße Plastik herunterdrücken würden und dazwischen noch Luft hereingepresst wurde. Es sah mir schlichtweg zu unrealistisch aus. Da ich zusätzlich die Maussensibilität nicht einstellen konnte, wurde mir zwischendurch etwas übel. Die Rätsel waren mir persönlich zu wiederholend. Im Grunde hat man immer das gleiche getan, bloß in anderer Umgebung. So richtig erforschen konnte man die Welt auch nicht. Hm. Schade.

Areia is a relaxing adventure game filled with puzzles that are challenging yet never frustrating. The game has a great visuals and soundtrack to boot. Definitely recommend picking this one up!

I understand the difficulty indie devs have to face, so I give this game a thumb up. But the game itself doesn't resonate with me enough for me to keep playing. And there are some petty technical problems here and there, like when the protagonist is climbing up a hill, the movement of their feet feels unnatural.

Uma aventura bem interessante, sem inimigos e com uma jogabilidade bem intuitiva. Basicamente, você deve solucionar alguns puzzles e encontrar áreas que conseguem sentar para meditar. O jogo inteiro é uma experiência visual e sensorial, com uma atmosfera bem relaxante. Ele é realmente bem focado nisso, então prepare-se para ficar andando pelo deserto e ver gradativamente o sol nascer e se por. Constantemente você se sentirá perdido, mas acredito que isso faça parte da experiência que o jogo quer passar. Digo até que apesar de ser um jogo em 3D, ele consegue ser casual. A trilha sonora dele é bem zen, ajudando a manter a atmosfera tranquila do jogo. Para mim, a história dele não ficou muito clara, há pouquíssimos textos. Me parece que há referências aos chakras nas fases. Realmente, não tenho como fazer pontes sobre o tema do jogo, pois conheço muito superficialmente os conceitos do hinduísmo. :/ Para quem está a procura de um jogo para manter-se ocupado e sem preocupação com dificuldade, esse aqui cai muito bem! :)

Engagement is so low that I was able to watch foreign movies, with subtitles, and still know what I was doing here. It's short and the ending is abrupt. The puzzle element is simple and becomes a battle of figuring out how far you can travel. There just isn't much here. There's potential but that's about it.
