This is a short and sweet indie horror game. Although it is missing some jump scares and a bit of story, the atmosphere was great, and it does build tension. Although the tension seemed lost as there were to few jump scares to build on that tense anticipation of being scared. I recommend to grab this game on a sale, as the 5.99 price tag seems a bit steep for the minimal game play experience. I would give this game a 3 outta 5 shady unicorns.
Steam Curator

ThePaper
The best part about Delirium is its ability to maintain a constant feeling of unease without relying on cheap jump scares. It’s perfect for players who appreciate narrative-driven horror experiences where the environment itself feels like a threat.
Creepy atmosphere and a great exploration of on mental health and PTSD. Super short but really fun to play in the dark, alone, with headphones!
Seems like someones guilt project more than a game. Sorry to whoever went thru this. The game was tedious and I just wanted to be done with it.
https://youtu.be/1g3SP31ZgF0 Fantastic atmosphere and ultimately great pacing if it weren't for the lack of direction between triggers. If you're thinking of playing this, just know that when you start searching for a new item, that item may have spawned in a place you've been previously—keeping this in mind will make the game so much more enjoyable for you. Side note: I just realized that the dev is a YouTuber I've been subbed to for a while—very cool! If you're interested in programming, the latest graphics tech, and/or how to use AI creatively (and if you like Bill Wurtz-style commentary) definitely check out IndividualKex. His splatting videos are particularly interesting imo.
The concept is very unique and the gameplay was interesting. It made me get a little scared at times. Some criticism I have is that there are 2 sections of the game: The first part is a linear walking simulator with some scares and the second part is more focused on action. The linear part was not very good because sometimes I would struggle to know where to go. Then, by process of elimination, once I figure out where to go, I expect a scare and it cheapens the experience. I think for the first section it should be more open-world-like, where you can explore everywhere with no locked areas, and then there are triggered scares at each area. Or if there are locked areas, it shouldn't depend on triggering one scare to have access to those areas. For example, currently a key spawns after a scare in order to open a locked door, then the key should be there at all times. Of course, this means there is a possibility that some scares won't get triggered, so it ultimately depends on how you want to tell the story. I think as the player, feeling like I'm in control and then getting scared as a consequence of my decisions is much scarier than being told where to go and expecting a scare. There is nothing wrong with the second part of the game. That was a very surreal experience.
No obnoxious horror antics here. Just simple graphics. Great game-play. Sound, music and atmosphere were all killer. Worked with DuelSense via USB. Option to head-bob off. Some may think the price is too high for reading about it being short. I don't know... It was definitely worth it for me. Giving this a 10
