A vintage immersive first-person shooter on GZDoom. With an atmosphere of a cold and melancholic postapocalypse, elements of dieselpunk, mix of a retro-style and realism and romantic shoegaze as a soundtrack.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its pretty short, but overall I enjoyed the time I spent in it. Worth the price I paid on it. Only minor complaint I have is outside of buildings the enemies can be tough to see, and the rifle didn't help much.
Game is solid. Good gameplay and execution. The main problem is the lack of content. 20 buckaroonies is a steep price for 1 hour of game. I want to love this. I really do. But it's just way too short to truly enjoy. I won't ask for a refund even though I feel unfulfilled. I feel like the devs deserve an extra 20 bucks. Edit: I've had recurring dreams about this game, or at least a game very similar to it. It was like this game but an open-world hardcore survival simulator. Like MISERY but with this game's graphics. It brought me back to this game a little.
tl;dr: don't buy this unless you're into arthouse games and can tolerate janky, boring experience with lots of features that are only there to add to the "vibe", not the gameplay. If you want an actually fun post-apocalyptic game, search Ashes 2063, which is on the same engine and also completely free. I really wish I could love this game, and it does some things greatly, but at the same time it really lacks in the technical and game design areas. Great elements: the atmosphere, the artstyle, the *vibes*. That's literally it. Poor elements: - Despite what the page says, this game is NOT non-linear, there is only one path through most of it, with just a few small situations where you can get a bit of barely meaningful extra loot or NPC interaction if you take a moment to look around. You can go back to the locations you've already been to, but it doesn't let you go too far, and there's never any reason to do so as you get nothing new. - Extreme lack of enemy variety, as you only fight two enemy types through its entire duration (pistol bandits and shotgun bandits). - Combat is jank as hell, headshots almost never register with the carbine (which is atrocious considering it's the only scoped weapon in the game), enemies move in jarring laggy steps. - Game's linearity isn't the only piece of false advertisement on the game's page, as its description implies that there are more than two large guns that you can find. Spoiler: there aren't, or they're so well-hidden that you never get them through normal means, but I doubt that's the case as there's no sign of other weapons shown in the trailers or screenshots of the game. - Lots of underutilized features that are implemented but have too little meaningful weight in the actual gameplay: 1) The radio listening feature, only gameplay use seems to be the weather broadcasts, but they play very little role as all you have to do to avoid damage from the rain is press one button to raise the hood, temporarily losing such an insignificant amount of FoV that I forgot to take it off for most of the game; 2) The alternative fire modes seem mostly useless except on the carbine, with shotgun being an exceptional case of "why it's here?", considering at the range you're using it it's a nearly guaranteed one shot, there are no tougher types that need two shots at once; 3) It's practically impossible to use up all of the tea can by the end of the game, even if you play very sloppily and lose max health a lot, you never lose so much that you need to use even 2/3 of the tea can let alone all of it; 4) There was only one area in the entire game that I've had the need to use my gasmask in, and not a single area where I felt the need to activate the flashlight; Some of the complaints, especially about the underutilized features, could be ignored under the assumption that such elements were implemented purely "for the vibes" which fits seeing the game's name, but since it's being sold for money, and 70% of the time you engage with the gameplay, I'm reviewing it as a shooter first and as a "vibes" game second. Do not buy if you expect it to be an interesting hardcore shooter. It's not hardcore; it's jankcore.
