Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I cant log in to ubisoft connect because of captcha every time solve it I am given another one.
This game is 5GB. This is crazy low space investment for such content. Here's why you shouldn't buy it first : -Ubisoft connect mandatory. You can play offline, but you won't be able to access a lot of feature, this game is deeply connected even with solo content. -The buildings don't tell you how fast they produce things nor how fast they consume things. You have to eyeball the ratios because with no experimentationg you got 0 info on the quantities. -The campaign is kinda meh early and you can't skip missions. Why you should buy it : -It's 5 GB which is 20 times less than ANNO 1800 -The art direction is great -There's a lot of stuff to do in sandbox without it becoming overwhelming either. They kinda nailed that. -The game is fun whether you're playing on the easiest custom difficulty or the hardest challenge that it has to offer. -The game never feels too slow if you're willing to sacrifice some ecology for that. -The tech faction is very interesting, you can do a lot of stuff with it and I absolutely love it. -Holy ♥♥♥♥ submarine colonies are GREAT CONTENT If you wanna play on easy, play tycoon. If you want your island to look good, play eco. That's it. Ecos kinda nerf you if you're playing pvp in an aggressive way, but it's also imo the most fun to play.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Ubisoft launcher locks you out of the game making it unplayable
All the Ubi junk aside: This game feels older than Anno 1404 (which I strongly recommend!), let me compare 2070 to that previous game: - The game makes you choose between two standalone factions (and one common support faction), which makes 1/3rd of resources and plants unusable for you unless you decide to develop a second society in the endgame - The islands feel the same, there is no difference between them. Underwater places are shallow even with the DLC - The main challange is no longer about conquering various islands to exploit their riches, but about planning space for extremely large production buildings. - The graphics are worse than in 1404. Everything has a slight blur. The buildings are simply boring. - Why the hell would you ever want to build as Tycoons? Their cities are 90s-style concrete and metal structures with tones of smoking chimneys. There is nothing majestic in them. They also make your islands look worse. Also, when it comes to Ecos - their design could be considered retro the day the game released. - There is no land warfare. The missions are less challenging. The NPCs are blatantly cheating. There are no small NPCs with their quirky mechanics hidden on the islands. The game makes you wait for timers to end way too often, to a point it feels mobile-like
The game that dares ask, "How aggressively mediocre can one game possibly aspire to be?" And the answer of course is lots mediocre.
Do not purchase Ubisoft games on Steam. Ubisoft Connect makes it impossible to play them offline and creates other hassles that ruin the experience.
Gross new forced-login Ubisoft launcher required to run the game. This is a bad move.
Awesome game that has aged very well. Multiplayer works without a hitch. The game runs periodic world event special missions changing out every month or so. The only problem is the low number of players still playing it. So buy the game and join us! Each new player makes it that much better!
Fun game back in the day, but is now absolutely broken to the point you cannot make it past the intro screen due to a "reboot loop". Literally cannot play the thing.
WARNING.... DEAD GAME, DEAD SERVERS FOR LOG IN, DEAD SUPPORT.... FALSE ADVERTISING... STEAM, THESE COMPANIES MADE PLENTY WHEN THEY PROVIDED A PRODUCT FOR OUR MONEY...
