If a game dont have any backup and people did paid for it, in my book, i call it a theft.
so when do we get our ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money back after these dev just up and leave ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ us as the buyer over?
Servers Shut down. Can no longer player in any complicity. Single player game that requires you to connect to their servers that are no longer. Dev said they can't put in an offline mode. Game wasn't designed to work like that. All games with online multiplayer features always shut down eventually. Why they lacked the foresight with their game only after 3 years? I don't know. Hopefully in the future they are able to have an offline only mode. Because the game was fun but very bad design flaw. This is not the only game I own that I can no longer play because of poor design. They got my money ether way. But Publisher and Studio, I wont be buying anymore.

shutting the game down...shame enjoyed the hell out of it ----------------- Hey everyone, We have some news to share on the future of DwarfHeim. Some time after v1.0 the developers dissolved which means we have no source code and no means of continuing to update the game. In the meanwhile we have been maintaining servers to enable players to continue playing the game. Unfortunately, it is no longer feasible to continue to maintain servers so we will be removing DwarfHeim from sale as soon as Valve is able to make this change, to prevent any further sales, and then DwarfHeim server support will end on 30th November 2023. Due to the way DwarfHeim was built it is not possible to play the game without servers, and without the development team, or the source code, there's no way we can patch in offline play. Thank you to everyone who supported DwarfHeim. Merge Games.
No offline support and servers are being shut down by the publisher - Avoid this developer and publisher at all costs.
"the developers dissolved which means we have no source code" poor planning really.
Sales of Dwarfheim have already been halted, and server support will be ended on November 30, 2023. Dwarfheim actually has a singleplayer mode, but even that won't be available once the servers go offline. -_-"
Game cannot be played without a server and their service ended in Nov 2023 rendering this game dead in the water.
♥♥♥♥♥♥ it. Can't even release it as a singleplayer game because SP requires online, apparently. Early access gone ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Game had a lot of cool ideas and mechanics but the game was never finished and devs left it to die, do not buy.
