Seneca, the great Roman Stoic, wrote in his epistles that 'a great part of progress consists in the desire to make progress'. When I'm playing a game which is about losing progress over and over again, I roll that idea over and over in my mind. Is it progress, after all, to simply want to make progress here? There is an element of surrender in how it feels to stick with a punishing game past the point where my effort is making a palpable difference to my skill. The same could be said for working unrelentingly in a craft for little reward -- something the Stoics talked a lot about, though they never knew the unique frustrations that working on videogames can provide.. indeed they could scarcely have imagined how annoying it would be to use a computer. Making small unwelcome games, over and over again, slipping them out for the consumption of an indifferent and unappreciative audience: is it the steady progress toward mastery, 'ten thousand hours of deliberate practice'? Or, I wonder, is it something else?

game sucks ngl

The game seems nice so far and hope to see where it goes. My only criticisms are that there should probably be more variation with the music and there should also be a mouse sensitivity setting. Great game if you're a Getting Over It fan and this game is severely underrated.
