Pretty good
Definitely one of the most ambitious games ever released. Tries to be so many genres at once, somehow it works really well

I think the best way to summarize this game in one sentence is this: Angels Fall First is when an FPS suffers from scope creep, but the developers hunker down and finish it anyway. 10 years in early access and they never gave up, never cut the vision. It really is crazy to see what this game has to offer for $18. And since it uses Unreal Engine 3, it still runs incredibly well - though the graphics are obviously rather outdated (they're fine, but you can really feel the Unreal Engine 3 oozing from it). I could go on for a really long time about everything this game offers. Ground, air, and space combat. Competent AI, even doing 32x32 matches with all AI (except you). A crazy level of customization (customize every weapon, every vehicle, and your armor, including numerous attachments for each to tune the experience). But I don't think that'd help anyone interested in this game. Just know that there is so much depth to so many mechanics in this game that you can treat it like several entirely different games depending on how you tailor your experience. If any of the major systems on offer call to you, I encourage you to give it a try, even if you only play with a small subset of the mechanics (like if you only want to play with the space combat). I bought this game years ago and bounced off it at first because of the learning curve. There's a lot of systems with a surprising level of depth, so it can seem overwhelming at first. I saw the potential, kept interest in it, but decided I wasn't ready to learn such a game at the time. I'm glad I came back. Since I originally purchased the game, they've added a tutorial, which, while not perfect, does a lot to get you on your way. After doing the tutorial and tinkering in the loadout system for a little while, I was set. You can really just start a game (I play offline since I'm not a PvP guy), keep things at default, and get blasting. Things will be a little crazy the first couple games, but once you get your feet under you, the world opens up at whatever pace you want. All the customization means you can play how you're comfortable with.
Wonderful game. It almost feels like planetside, except factions are balanced and you don't get sniped from three kilometers away by a random leatherman
.
Is fun, should play
Very cool, and nostalgic of 2012 era gaming. I am feeling hints of Star Wars Battlefront 2 (the original battlefront 2, not the newer one), maybe early Halo as well in regards to the FPS and piloting mechanics? (you can aim down sights with all weapons tho) While I did learn the hard way how some other parts of the game work, I appreciated the tutorials. While it was a bit of monotoned reading and I almost spaced out a couple times in the middle of it, it was of good quality and had some valuable-to-know stuff in it. What left there was to figure out on my own wasn't too difficult to understand by myself. Much appreciated tutorial - more games need tutorials that try, like this one does. The graphics are vintage... on purpose I hope? I'm gonna assume the graphics are like this on purpose, considering development started in 2016 (so I hear). Otherwise I'll roast the heck outta this xD The ship animations are cool tho. I kinda wish the ground matches lasted a bit longer. They're too short for newbies like me who want to indulge in the maps and get more time on the field with various weapons... oh and btw, the DPS balancing in this is not very good. Devs might want to consider bringing the low and high ends of DPS closer together, tightening the DPS spectrum. I just can't see using the less damaging kinetic weapons when the enemy players are fighting properly. Despite whatever conveniences they may offer as a tradeoff for the lesser damage, they kinda get ignored, and it's evident in the lobbies I join and in my own loadouts. Forgot to do a performance check. I had my framerate capped at 144 @1440p, the fans barely kicked up in rpms, and I didn't check my hardware usage while playing so I don't know how hungry this game is but it must not have been taxing to hit 144fps at 1440p if my SFX case didn't crank the fans up, so I'd wager an RTX 3060 can do similar to those numbers (estimated guess). Still some bugs to iron out after your 1.0 release. A couple of them were annoying, the others were not too relevant. One annoying bug is trying to join/leave a squad but ya cant. The other is sometimes ADS doesn't work the first time you click to ADS...? That irks me especially. Consider adding some on-foot movement deceleration/acceleration to prevent the strafing techniques from being TOO abusive? I'm all for movement metas, I come from games like Finals and Apex and Planetside 2... but this game's strafing and direction-switching is insane when you encounter a player who knows how to use it well lol
Batallas espaciales con naves, combate terrestre con infantería y vehículos, bots decentes y buen gunplay. Puedes jugar solo o con otros jugadores.
