Reviews
Would I recommend Angels Fall First? The short answer is yes. It might be dated, it might be clunky, but it's a game with heart. You can't say that about a lot of games made nowadays. AFF offers OG Battlefront II style ground and space battles with fully customizable loadouts and even camos. Did I mention full offline support, too? If you're on the fence, give it an honest try. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
Great videogame and I absolutely love that you can play offline against bots! Best devs <3

Auch nach 10 Jahren leider immer noch schlecht. Die Idee ist super, aber die Umsetzung ist mies. Vor allem laggt es wie sau. Angeblich hat man einen Ping von 11, aber die Spieler porten sich mehr als das sie laufen.
Only heard about this game once it hit 1.0, and it's a great game to turn on for a couple hours and either put on light armor and knife people or put on heavy armor and a minigun and just hold the objective. Also if you're wanting faster budget increases, most people have some weird fear of playing in the commander spot but it's easy to do and you get a lot of command Exp. if people or bots follow your orders.
This is not a modern shooter. This is a love letter to all those halo, halo 2, unreal tournament, early battlefield, and battlefront 2 days and it still holds up. If you want that experience revived to live anew, look into this game.
i dont think this game is for everyone cool for your trades guy casual gamer who works and comes home with his big ole group to run some matches cool game for people with big imaginations but in reality for me i didnt get wowed once and concepts and ideas don't interest me as much as execution does. gunplay and physics is straight from the 2000s, uninspired spaceships is cool but is too short and slow and you'll rarely ever find someone cool enough who wants to actually have a good dogfight, lot of flying around, and wondering what to do. im only givin this a hell yeah cause i know 99% of steam is just normal american basic adults who would love this and its a legit honest passion project. i was 99% going to not recommend this cause the yt videos suck this games #### dry, and i really thought i would have to convice the homies to get a copy
I want to really love this game, but there's a bunch of QOL and interface work that really needs to be done to tighten up the experience.
This game reminds me of Battlefield 2142 (the og one), for a brief moment, and then I remembered that we are in 2026 and this game is nothing like the glory days of 2142. It doesnt measure up to any game that I've played in this genre. I was very dissapointed by this game and will not be playing it again. The tagline for this should be, "Spawn, Die, then Spawn Again, and Die Again". Not a fun experience and would not recommend. (Really had high hopes for this game...)
I recommend this game.
It looks fun, but falls short. I think they should focus on one game-mode and perfect it instead of having three different, disjointed parts that are imbalanced Playerbase is nice (shoutout to Goblin Gobbler), but the meta opens up a lot of space for sweats who dunk on new players
