Angel Made

As you might be able to tell from my playtime: I played this game a LOT more than the advertised amount of playtime hours. (Partly because I suck and had to grind a lot to do the last bosses, but once I did, it was WORTH IT.) This game is full of fun characters, hilarious dialogue (there's something about dignified Final Fantasy-esque-looking characters...casually SWEARING THEIR HEADS OFF at each other from to time to time XD), good plot twists, really pretty castles and landscapes, and best of all, not all the gameplay is just walking around and fighting. You can also craft, gather/farm, and fish! The levelling system is unusually complex and interesting, since you can invest into active skills, passive buff skills, and also sometimes you get a new special battle skill, which can be used for only that character and doesn't require any mana--but those have cooldowns. Did I use them ALL THE TIME anyway? Of course I did! All said, "Angel Made" is a solid oldschool JRPG style game, and take that from someone who still has her 1990 copy of the original "Final Fantasy" including the instruction booklet and map. :)
