Blood Soaked Bastard!

Fun game but very buggy. For how cheap this is, It's definitely worth it, and I hope the developer's next game is even better

I do not often review games however i felt the need to leave one on Blood Soaked bastard since i have been thoroughly enthralled by the game. BSB is a very soulful and charming RPG maker game its rough around the edges in a lot of regards there's not combat music for a lot of the combat encounters, no skill or item descriptions, mechanically its not ground breaking (there is a glimmer of something really interesting there with a bit of work however), its a little buggy but all that being said there's a lot to love about this game. The atmosphere is excellently put together generally grimy and dilapidated you feel drug through the mud looking at some of these locations, the music is all around very solid and fitting some of it groovy even very enjoyable overall, the art is really really good the backgrounds are appropriately dreary, the cutscenes all brutal and macabre eye candy, monster design unique and strange, the NPC and Party designs are very unique i dont think ill ever have a player party like BSB again in another game, the humor and character dialog is good even though there isnt a lot of it like the interaction with the elf over his soup got a good chuckle out of me very funny stuff. Is Blood Soaked bastard a perfect game? No not at all do i recommend it still yes absolutely what you have a is a short but very memorable and underrated RPGmaker game for 2 dollars a utter steal id still recommend this game if it was 2 or 3 times the price genuinely. I sincerely hope the creator keeps making games not even necessarily BSB 2 or anything like that but just games in general because with a little iteration and you could have something truly special on your hands no matter what keep making things you got a sparkle of something great here C:

I love everything about this game and I love how much personality it has, it makes me want more out of this world. The art style and humor are great, whoever made this is really talented and I hope they make more in the future, we need more games and devs like this. Two dollars for this is such a steal, please grab it

This is one of those atmosphere games that sells you on the world in five minutes and further explores what that means over the next four hours. Awesome art, cutscenes, music, and writing! I only have three wishes to improve the game: - changing the price of monster parts to 10 instead of 5 to speed up the initial grind [spoiler] to buy a certain someone. Could also reduce his price. [/spoiler] Once you have the full party, it's steady going even through the final boss! - Adding some sound during battles, even some atmospherics would go a long way to help the grind. - giving descriptions to the abilities and items. If the intention is to obscure the exact mechanics, then adding a diegetic explanation from THE BASTARD! would be great.

"Do you bleed, demon?" Despite the use of default assets and clunky gameplay, it's a good game. All of the characters are surprisingly unique, and the few dialogue is worth it. What caught my attention was the nice art style and music(although I wish has more), as well the medieval aesthetic. I hope the developer return to this world and make more games.

Визуал очень стильный и история цепляет своей смешнявостью и одновременно ставит выборы, где придется подумоть головой, ведь даже у головореза она есть (в отличии от гуля ХПХПХПАХПАХПАХ). Если вы чувствуете родство с Вермисом или прочими работами в стиле LoreGB - ваши глазки вас не обманули, это прям ОНО.
