A dystopian simulator where your choices shape a decaying city. Join other players to protect the metropolis from ruin, hasten its downfall, or simply work in the factories. With no set goals or rules, every action has consequences in a world teetering on the brink.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Enter ANEURISM IV, a sprawling metropolis where the proletariat works without question and the air is thick with decay. As a Spirit—a spectral entity on the verge of becoming flesh and bone—you stand at a crossroads. The city is yours to influence, disrupt, or simply observe. With no set goals or rules, how you engage with this world is entirely up to you.
From the hardworking Prole to the affluent Banker, each fate offers unique abilities, challenges, and ways to interact with the city and its inhabitants. Your choice defines your journey:
Align with the Cortex to stabilize and protect the city.
Join the Scumbags or Zealots to spread the Rot and sow chaos.
Remain Neutral and immerse yourself in daily life, working in factories or exploring the city.
An ever-present threat, the Rot visibly alters the city as it spreads. Roles like Liquidators and Scumbags are pivotal in either containing or exploiting this menace. If left unchecked, the Rot will consume everything, leading to the city's demise.
ANEURISM IV is a sandbox simulator first and foremost. The city reacts dynamically to player actions:
Take Down the City: Collaborate with others to bring about the city's downfall and witness its reset.
Protect the City: Work to maintain order and keep the Rot at bay.
Live Your Life: Engage in everyday activities or carve out a unique path—it's your choice.
Survival depends on your willingness to work. Earn credits by taking on various jobs—labour in factories, manage resources as a Prole, or manipulate finances as a Banker. These credits are your lifeline, allowing you to purchase necessities from shops, trade for valuable goods, or invest in property.
In ANEURISM IV, there are no rules dictating your actions. Every decision you make impacts the city and its inhabitants. Will you bring stability or chaos? The choice is yours.
Total Freedom: No imposed objectives. Play your way.
Dynamic Consequences: Every action influences the world around you.
Multiplayer Interaction: Invite friends to join your world—collaborate, compete, or coexist.
Survival Mechanics: Manage your nourishment and sanity in an oppressive, ever-changing environment.

Thiss iss quite a unique game. I undersstand that it iss not the firsst nor the lasst in itss genre, but sstill, itss a unique experience like any other. Unfortunately, the dev team doessnt conssider people sscreaming n-word all over an issssue, and only tell to cover our earss. the dev team, when assked about people who only drive playerss away from the game, ssay that we sshould resspect their playsstyle. Vellocet "producer" (operating 3 devss btw) action are ignorant at besst and hurting at mosst. "No moderation" rule ssuckss. God i hope aaron sstepss down. #FixAnIV

devs actively hire p3dos on their staff and ban people who write bad reviews but the games been dead for months so who care lol, started with 20+ servers all with 50 people now reduced to 1 or 2 servers that can barely keep 30 at peak hours. devs can try and update the game all they want but this game will never be popular again due to poor choices by the developer and negligence of the game in general. game pretty much reduced to vibeslop
After many hours and what used to be my #1 favorite game OAT, the fall off was hard to watch. DDOSers, hackers, and just awful people including the developer (allegedly*), really ruined the community, this last update really finished it off, with literally anything that was easy made hard, or impossible, and no actual content added. Balancing isnt nerfing, nerfing isnt balancing. This game really was great for a bit before it went downhill, fast. About 6 months ago, it was the greatest game ever, at least I thought. No matter the reviews from then, the game has changed, and it isnt good or worth it anymore. You hate to see it happen, but it does. RIP Aneurism IV, it was a good run (it wasnt).
Game was supposed to be a brutal experience, with every update they make it more like a rp kindergarten Not worth playing anymore.
The most recent updates are genuinely the worst decisions someone could've made for this game, whoever came up with the ideas needs to be strung up from a tree. There is a certain extent where a games' whole point can be "making your experience as miserable as possible" and it still be something people enjoy. If you don't own this game, stay that way playa bc new updates are genuinely killing the game. Devs need to lock the ♥♥♥♥ in because every gem player i've ever met is gone, and I am not too far behind them. The time I spent on this game progressively became worse and every time I got on to a new ♥♥♥♥♥♥ update the playerbase was more and more incel haha. Anamnecyte gains being as nerfed as they are, the stupid ass karma system not letting you protect yourself from said incels, the loot pools being nerfed quality wise AND quantity wise, is more than enough for me to prefer defecating over playing this garbage. Worst part is those issues don't even sum it up, but I think I speak for many former AN4 citizens when I say this ♥♥♥♥ is the last straw and I would rather compete in pain olympics than spend another day wasting my time there. Loved this game in its' prime, now I cannot imagine spending another 5 minutes on it.
Started playing and realized there is only ever 1 server and its never in my 25 hrs has had 80/80 players. Ive been subjected to absolute mental torture and have received severe trauma from playing this game. The moment you start to have fun it will be ripped from you instantly like you threw a dog a t-bone steak. Your dignity and pride will be tossed out the window as soon as you spawn in as a parole and honestly i have no dignity and pride anyways. If your looking for a game that will make you want to find an active volcano and go for a swim, then i would recommend this game. 7/10. could use some more players.
cough
I've played this game a TON since the end of 2025, at first figuring it was just an off-shoot of DarkRP with dystopian undertones but something felt fishy from the get-go. Don't get me wrong, I actually... fell in love with it? I took everything in stride that happened in-game, from crap tier players to sadists trying to ruin your fun, you keep going, but it turns out all the community complaints about the game having biased mods and devs that simply do not care about the player, and there being a small clique of individuals ''shadow governing'' without even being devs are starting to be apparent due to how they're censoring every bit of critique. Game changes made are far in and between and often result in breaking the game and making the experience more and more miserable. I understand some suffering but it feels like a bad meme at this point. There is a very serious underlying ''issue'' that I will mention now in an edit because one of the developers (Aaron) is trying to besmirch me - apparently a member of their dev team was caught soliciting minors (apparently a community manager - some say Aaron himself, check the reviews) or in the very least justifying or celebrating this type of behavior, and the general consensus is that the team is covering it up, which (I assume as a semi-jest) has resulted in an underground meme revolving sexual deviancy, and using the in-game bulletin board to spread such slander and vitriol, even if in bad taste. For instance, people leave messages about random players contacting them after mentioning being a "minor", random players accusing eachother of being the P-word, in-game voice over chatter about the devs being the P-words, and so, going along with the joke, I participated, poking fun at players in the apartments, accusing them of being predators wanting to engage in such behavior. I have many screenshots of such messages left behind by other people, but because I've been a vocal critic of the game and the devs, I've been pinpointed. Aaron, the developer trying to besmirch me, has left behind a comment, I have decided to leave it up so as to indicate how out of touch he is regarding the problem within his own team and how he refuses to address anything else. Isn't that funny? The devs are crooks - they will take your money, but if you critique the game you will be silenced, snuffed out and banned from the game in a most abhorrent manner. The game's dead and exclusive to a small clique of Redditors. It was good, but they kept ruining it, and outside of updates, a certain circle within just ruin it for everyone else. I had fun but I no longer recommend this.
died 4 times without any interesting player interactions. You basically grind as a prole to fulfill arbitrary, poorly implemented unfun tasks just to have your 5 seconds of glory to live in a death match power fantasy. Small player community deprives you of the ability to rotate to servers with interesting people. Most people are just grinding for the sake of it.
