A vampire survivors esque game, where you get to be a dragon. Couldn't get better than that. It's a pretty fun experience. I see lots of combos to be had, didn't unlock that many yet, but I am going to. The game does not do well on 3440x1440 resolution unfortunately, or maybe it's a fullscreen issue. The whole UI is stretched out, leaving parts of the game cropped, and some are not visible. Easy fix is to change the resolution in game properties on steam.

This is a roguelike moreso than roguelite, and it's very arcade style. My non-recommendation mainly stems from the lack of a progression feel, and the high difficulty. Skill RNG is very poor and diluted with too many useless things, which is "solved" by a gold system that leaves me wanting more. I would've preferred faster movement, but the way it works it via a stamina system, and sometimes options to slow projectiles. Your starting stamina and range are poor, which pushes you to a tank style approach, but then enemy HP rapidly increases, meaning you have to put points into damage, but then you're just a slow moving blob that dies repeatedly. Which doesn't at all feel satisfying. And as much as this game boasts of its skill variations, they're really quite similar just with color changes.

Unfortunately, the game's tutorials continuously play on repeat and will not allow me to just play the game. I saw the same messages dozens of times and could not make them go away, even after quitting and restarting or letting the enemies kill me and restarting. This was reported on the discussions months ago and it's still not fixed. Additionally, when I got into the discord of the developer, people were saying that the dev's account got stolen and was spreading that 'free money' scam where they take pictures as a result, which means that it's likely very difficult to get ahold of the dev to fix anything, assuming he still has access. Wishing him the best, but I can't recommend the game until he is able to address this problem that makes it pretty unplayable. Hope he gets his stuff back if he hasn't already, too.

Interesting game, I'm not too far into it but I enjoy the mechanics. Only negative point is that there isn't too much meta-progression at all (I think you can only buy new dragons aka characters to play)
